daft thing was i'd done all the cutting machining and even stuffed the body, it was just hand sewing the bits on and stuffing them. Probably only took an hour to actually finish.

It's one of my biggest crafting sins-starting something and then being too excited to start the next project to completely finish the last, no matter how simple the task that needs finishing! X
  • Flumero love your sopas the flower ones look stunning.

Pateroo i cant seem to see a picture of your monkey for some reason? (and i am also guilty of starting a project them moving on to the next exciting project before finishing the last:D)

knitted bag is now finished and all sewn up - its quite big so made a long strap that goes right down the sides of the bag and its works as a shoulder bag.

  • I love the knitted bags. Is there a pattern available for them online?
    Use your stuff challenge 50/50
  • thank you scrapmate, the ones i'm making are from a book called 25 bags to knit by Emma King. the last one was an improvisation, id made the side panels and they had come up quite big so instead of the two carry handles i just knitted a long strap.

im sure if you look on ravelry or google knitted bag patterns something might come up.

dizzytina-i've never attempted a sock monkey. The furthest my sewing abilities stretch is bunting. I would tear my hair out trying to make a sock monkey! I like the snowman best by the way! Very cute xx
