Morning All

Late post for me as I have been good today and cleaned house and done most of the ironing. Need to put some more washing on the line and another load in.

Have speed read the thread this morning so hopefully havnt missed any important news. Love the new site but panicked for a moment when I could see the forums!

Hugs if needed - Queenie enjoy the car. I would love to do a spreadsheet for my groceries but have so many other things I need to do first - will put it on my master list!

Chiquito's - we have just had one open in a nearby town - looks good - is the food nice.

Scuzz - glad you are sounding more positive - hope you get your creepy emailer sorted.

Best get on, promised to take DS & the dog over the fields for a kick about.

Where's this year going ? I can't believe it's June already!

Happy New Car Day Queenie (my car is green and has a name it's called SHeap, short for Sh*t Heap Jeep! )

Well, gardening today for me, have the lawns to cut, edges to strim down, planters to sort out etc etc, all alone as DP too busy with his hobby as usual. Thankfully weathers nice so far, just hope it's not too hot.

Morning all, just.........

Its a nice bright day, just the day to hang out the washing.........but mine is in the dryer, its the one thing I really miss........

OH is doing well, walked down the stairs and out to the post box this morning, came back up in the lift, I suggested that tomorrow he walks down one flight of stairs and then back up to see how he manages, there are two flights up to the apartment. His appetite is fine and he is a lot brighter, sat at the moment doing a jigsaw on the dining table, he enjoys doing them and I managed to get 3 at the charity shop the other day. When he has done them I will put them in the residents lounge for someone else to have a go at.

Soup for lunch, hm fish and chips for supper, going to make a bread and butter pudd for dessert.........my fridge is full to bursting right now, had to do a shuffle to get a shoulder of lamb in, need to stick it with garlic and put it in the bag with some red wine, the smell of the mint sauce in the fridge is driving me crazy.............

DD came yesterday with the last cabinet for the kitchen, we had a struggle to get the screws out of the angle support under the work top it has gone under, but its in now and my two baskets look very smart..........

Right off to put the soup on a low light, slice the loaf I made yesterday and nip down and get the washing..........

Havent posted for awhile because I lost my job last friday (10 mins before home time too!) and havent felt like it, and I dont think you guys really want to hear about it either as you have your own stuff going on.

Ha ha, I've always wanted to do that to an ex employer who treated me like dirt. (sorry, I'm nice really, honest )

got home from Nice at about 1am this morning and logged on to my e mails whilst having a longed for cuppa tried to log onto the site but it was being made all shiny and new

well loads to do and washing to do as well Oh has said that he thought 4 days with the kids would be a doddle and that he would be able to stay up late and watch his programmes on tv but was shattered and in bed by 10.30pm:rotfl: he says that it was because of a change of job not because it was hard work being a house hubby:eek:

Hi everyone!
Hugs to those who need them.
All is well here. The small person had a fab birthday even if the weather was on the naff side...he and OH have spent the last 2 days building a cable car out of the meccano admidst some huffing and puffing from junior engineer and some under the breath cursings from senior engineer. Me..I'm keeping well out of it!!
Good news today...OH has got a new order so he's chuffed and very busy. Well wouldn't want to leave him any time to get into mischief now would I!!
OS today...towels and linen changed and light load done. Will be hitting Mr T tonight with my streamlined list having had a good poke around the freezer and storecupboard and based my menu around that. Managed to get most of my monthly menu plan done last night..that will just need tweaking.
Not a great deal of OS planned for this weekend as we've got our London Eye trip coming up. I did read your comments about it being fantastic but I really am terrified of heights and I don't think they'll whizz it around extra fast to let me off early somehow:D Over the years we've paid for many things which I have then been unable to go on so thought better of wasting £15 this time. Shall be quite happy reading my book! Sunday I really must get my pots done and the plants in.

I'm not too bad really, just hate posting gloomy posts. I have been reading the posts though, but you all sounded so happy etc I didnt think my news would help, its probably a 'rejection' reaction IYKWIM - wasnt wanted at work so felt no one else wanted me or is interested either. Just one of those "things" you have to go thru at times like these i suppose.

I knew something was gonna happen and even said to the girl in the next office I was expecting them to turn up friday and let me go - and they did! Basically it was a personal issue - the useless UK guy wanted me out of the way (probably because I knew about his dodgy dealings etc) and I gather that the Big Boss in dubai did stick up for me, but was prob put in a position between me the newcomer and the stalwarts. I was concerned because they were set up their own company, whilst the other company were paying for everything.

So basically a case of a woman who can speak her mind they didnt like - they want a bimbo who wont say boo to a goose so they can get on with their shady dealings. To be honest, they were the most unprofessional company ever so I wont miss them. WhatI will miss is the convenient location and hours! Ce La Vie! Just angry that I got outed by a !!!!!!!!!!

I will miss the big Boss in Dubai as I think he is a credible person and I have a feeling that our paths will across again - maybe he will offer me a job in Dubai!! you never know!!

I know things happen for a reason so Im sure that this is making way for something else/better to come along!

So this week i have been doing plenty of baking, mushroom quiche, soup, lasagne, cakes as therapy! and spending time with the kids.

Havent got a blooming clue where the next mortgage payment is coming from - but something will turn up!

so dont worry im not beaten yet! but thank you very much for just being there guys!
