OS Friday 1st June 07

Hi, this is today's Daily Thread. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

:hello: Goooooooood Morning fellow OS'ers :D:D:D

Wow! Loving the new look site, WTG MSE Team :T :T :T :T

Banner day here for me, pick up my new-to-me car :j :j :j I've double checked all the payments/transfers of money have gone through and now it's just countdown until the garage opens :D

I've got the WM on, so that can all go outside and flutter in the wind while I'm busy :D

Yesterday I drew up my food inventory in an Excel doc and already it's worth the investment of time - it will be so easy to make a shopping list from in a months time too! So, anyone who hasn't already made an inventory of what's lurking in their cupboards, I recommend it!

Catch up with you all later, enjoy a MoneySaving Friday

on a diesel when you turn the ignition on you get a light usually two squiggle line or something like that, thats the glow plugs heating the diesel to start it well it does on most of them

    Morning Guys!
Queenie-How do I do an Excel doc:confused: ...OH did a freezer inventory, so just need to do the cupboards. Great about the car also!

I am NOT doing a washload today. I ended up doing 3 yesterday, so i think thats enough for the enviroment ATM:rolleyes: DW is half empty/full and toilet has been scrubbed.

OH is finishing off the back garden. He laid loads of grass seed down with the help of DD and nephew. Also bought a curtain pole for DD's room as we have now got curtains for her and lined as the blinds were letting in too much light. He also bought 4 large pots from B&Q reduced from £10 each to £3 and some reduced plants to go in them.

I must look through my essay today as my max deadline is Monday:eek:

Anyway, Im off for a cuppa tea:D Must do the meal plan thread today as well, so I know what im easting next week.

    hugs
