    Welcome Claire :j

    Glad you are home Bigzippy

Today I am going to wash the baby bedding and get the unit finished in the nursery as well as try to talk my hubby into putting up the small pile of pictures I seem to have amassed.

I also fancy going out for a short walk in the park today to get some fresh air.

    Good morning all

Hope you are all well, I'm ok, manage to stay up till 1130pm last night.....go me! My mum popped round for a catch up and before we knew it, it was very late. DH is working nights this weekend so it was lovely having company last night.

I also started my Christmas shopping yesterday afternoon online....whoo, had an email this morning to say its on its way, looking forward to wrapping them (favourite part) and putting them under the tree (when we get one).

Not sure what I am doing today, no plans till DH wakes up then we might pop out. I have the MW on Wednesday and a GTT test on Friday....busy week!

Claire, it's lovely to see you here.

MrsBunny. It makes me laugh when I see you and others saying that you managed to stay up past 10 or 11 as they would be early nights for me. I'm such a night owl that I'm still up at 1am most week nights and was watching a film at 2am last night. I'm not advocating it and wish I could change and sleep more, but it's hard changing my nature. I'm sure things will change when baby arrives. Hubbie's in bed by 10pm though. Lol.

    Hi kynthia
Since I've become pregnant 10pm has been my limit, more like 9-930 in the week!! Just so so tired. Good thing is though I am sleeping right through the night at the moment. Before I became pregnant I could manage a 11pm bed time but that's it!!!

We are all different, it would be boring if we were all the same. My DH is a night owl too on his days off. Not looking forward to the night feeds baby will want! I need my sleep.

    Xxx

Kynthia I am the same as you and tend to stay up quite late, although I do love an afternoon nap :rotfl:

Haha, no such luck I'm afraid Amyloofoo :o 12 days overdue today >yawn<

I had a bit of a bad day yesterday so didn't want to bore everyone with my miserable-ness!!

I decided to have a baking day with DD to alleviate some boredom as I don't feel comfortable being too far from the house at this stage - especially not with DD as I would have to arrange for her to go somewhere if I did start off in labour...

So we gets started, only to find the larder has damp in it and so most of the baking contents had to get slinged :o We went to the supermarket and replaced what we needed, and got some tubs etc to put the flour/sugar in for future.

I'd dreamt about a Victoria sponge cake, so was keen to do that ready for visitors coming - and also we had a few extra things on our list if we got chance. Well, the first cake I made I tested it and the prodder came out clean - but when I tipped it up to get it out the tin all the middle runny mixture fell out all over the floor :o We were gonna do a double layer cake, so I still had half the mixture left and decided to split that in half and just make a smaller cake. All went cake with smaller cake #1 and we made some carrot cake cupcakes which went super as well. But then when it came to smaller cake #2, I was tired and when I was taking it out the oven to check it I managed to drop it and it all fell out the tin >again< :o:mad::( This was not good news to an overly pregnant lady!!

We also managed to get a puncture in our motorhome tyre yesterday - which is v awkward as the spare tyre was stolen earlier on in the year too. And then the laptop broke later on as well!! Just felt like it wasn't our day!!!

But then baby reminded me what I am going to miss so I am going to try my very bestest to enjoy these last 2 days and not get so frustrated and impatient to meet the baby: http://s1125.photobucket.com/user/abis21/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20131130_202259.mp4.html

And I had a nap and Chinese which helped out too :rotfl:

So today is another baking day as we didn't manage to do half of what we wanted yesterday :o And DH is managing to fix the laptop I think so that's a bit better news too

BZ - glad you are home. Hope your cold goes soon as well - mine is still hanging in there tho :o

Claire - Welcome to the thread  Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly.

Continual - Awwwww, scarlett is so super gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing :D

Kerri - Hope you are having a lovely weekend away
