Sidney - hope you get sorted out with your platelets. I haven't known anyone with that problem so sorry I can't post anymore about it :o

Lol Lily I would love nothing more than to stop hogging the no 1 spot :rotfl: hope lola and finch are having more luck than me...

MrsTM - I think your body tells you when not to sleep on your front or back. You'll just find it too uncomfortable after a while. I have a pillow that I use between my knees as I have some pelvic pains and I do think it helps, altho I find it a faf when I need to turn over in the night and I get in a tangle sometimes :o

Firefly - hope your growth scan goes ok. Everyone has different shaped bumps and I don't think its an indicator on how big your baby will be. I've seen 6lb babies come out of massive bumps and 10lb babies come out of teeny tiny bumps.

Aww birdie, my nephew was quite a 'hard' baby and it does worry me a little but then my friend had the most content baby ever. I like to think that as we waited so long to get our babies that they will be really good sleepers and nice and content to 'make up for' the hard times :o

TL when she starts hooking her feet under your ribs and punching you in the foof at the same time you know you have a mischief on your hands :rotfl: yay for 5 days off :j

I'm still hanging around I'm afraid :o I did a mahoosive walk yesterday so today along with no baby still, I also have achy hips and legs :p Am thinking I need to make some weekend plans to stop myself going stir crazy. :o Not sure what though at this stage of overdue-ness

I sorted out that I can keep DD for an extra night next week so thats a relief if I do need inducing on Tuesday. Am feeling a lot calmer than yesterday about it all now. Just need to do something in the meantime as both me and DH are getting tired with all the waiting.

Abis my friend was induced as she was 2 weeks late and she said before the baby came her and her OH just kept going out for meals all the time cos 'well this might be our last chance' lol glad you've got your daughter an extra night, one less part to worry about, although I feel a bit sorry for her dad in that I'm sure she'll be desperate to get back home to her new baby sibling so won't like being there lol

abis21 - Hope it all kicks off for you soon..I was 12 days overdue with my DS 4 years ago and i know how miserable it is, you kind of plan for months and months around 1 day and when that comes and goes its so frustrating. I tried to get out and do things too, I loved the look on peoples faces when they asked when i was due and i said over a week ago :-)

Just checking in... From the hospital  Baby's fine but I'd been puking almost non stop for over 12 hours. Went to gp and I had ketones +++ and low blood pressure so he sent me here for fluids etc. Really hoping to be out of here tonight but will have to see how it goes...

Hope everyone else feels better than me!

Hugs bigzip, I had D and V all day yesterdy it was awful and we had toiss NCT last night which course leader sounded a bit disgruntled about, although I'm sure the other Mum's would have had something to say if i'd have given it to them! Hopefully it's just a bug going round. I got so worried yesterday as started with mega sickness and then the other started. Stomach cramps were so bad I questioned early labour! She was kicking away merrily though and hasnt seemed phased at all by it, just wiped me out but on the mend now.

Firefly are you able to speak to anyone specialist before the growth scan? whilst i can understand your reasons for not wanting to start on medication it's no failing on your part if it's needed to keep you and little one healthy, mentally as well as physically x x

I missed the diabetic nurse today but am going to try and get an appointment early next week to restart metformin (stopped taking it when I got pregnant). Had another spike in my blood glucose last night and my diet is just too restrictive now without medication. Can't live on chicken and green beans for the next 8 1/2 weeks (really need some fruit and dairy).

BZ - Aww no that sucks. Were the keytones because of puking/dehydration? Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry for all the sicky ladies and the babies that are too comfortable and don't want to be born in November just yet!

My little one has upped the movements and I've been yelping when ribs and unmentionables are punched and kicked. Me and hubby were watching him trying to get through my stomach the other night, so amusing!

I had anti D injection this week.

Generally feel ok, it's just time is going too quickly!

I got a bundle of 0-3 mths clothes off a facebook group, gave the girl a bit extra as she was being too generous. I washed them all, very cute, I haven't made the connection that I will have a baby to dress them in soon...

Have a good weekend all :)

abiglad you have sorted an extra day, still have everything crossed for you.

Afm - Blah still here, won't sweep until after 41 weeks and not engaged only 'at brim' so even though I feel like when I step upstairs it might fall out, I'm clearly kidding myself.

Can't be ar*ed to do anything today, except feel sorry for myself and (in my head) respond to the constant text messages with what I truthfully want to say :p

Hugs for feeling rotten and being stuck in hospital BZ! Hope you get out soon. :o

Hugs for being ill too Jemb! :o

Forgot to mention that last night as we were going to bed OH noticed some *ahem* leakage marks on my top and asked 'What the hell is that?!' then started laughing his head off when I sheepishly admitted that I'm now Leaky Boob Girl! :p Good job I was feeling in good spirits last night and could laugh about it too, threatened to 'get' him with my new power if he didn't behave! :rotfl:

ETA: Sorry you're still here Finch! Hope baby makes an appearance over the weekend! :)
