I think the draw of the Perfect Prep is that instead of boiling a fresh kettle, making up the formula and waiting for it to cool down whilst baby is screaming for food, it's ready to go in 2 minutes. If we don't use it, we'll sell it but considering it has so many rave reviews about how life changing it is, I'm fairly confident we'll love it!

Hope you can get a 1 on 1 tour BZ, I'm sure it'll go a long way to making you feel better about going to the hospital and dealing with the people there. Hugs for the anxiety though, I keep having to swallow mine back down as the closer I get to having the baby the more I panic that I'm going to be terrible at this and it's making me go a bit funny...

Hugs for having a grump/rubbish OH Kerri. Mine was in a mood last night but I've no idea why... luckily he works so late I only have to talk to him for about 30 minutes before going to bed so when he is in a grump I don't have to look at his miserable face for long!

Woke up with new pains this morning, my lower ribs were aching like mad! Don't know what the little dude had been up to last night but I could barely move when I woke up! :eek:

grr even though i've been off for two days i've had no internet and bad TV cos Virgin have done something they clearly can't put right. luckily i can blame DH as he's the one who chose them lol

Did manage to pick up everything for decorating baby's room, so excited for it to be started, pretty sure i'm going to defy my mother and help paint and then do myself a mischief lol

was up for 3 hours in night last night for no reason other than DH woke me as i felt he was breathing dramatically, think i'm guna sleep on the couch from now on

I keep getting pain when i stand up under my bump, not sure if it's muscular or braxton hicks but it don't half put me off doing anything lol and i decided to walk the ten minutes to mum's last night and little miss kept moving to make it really hurt to walk, she's proper mischief lol

Abis hope the sweep starts things off for you

BigZ hope they can accomodate you, i'm sure it'll go a long way to putting your mind at rest

Kerri hope your OH comes out of his grump, they're so annoying when they throw the toys out the pram lol

Congratulations kscarlet - glad all went well :j :j

Well had my final midwife appt and it didn't go well blood pressure up for the first time but they aren't gonna do owt as no protein in urine. Attempted sweep but cervix too posterior and baby's head is too far up so she said there wouldn't be any point

Booked in for induction on tues so avoiding my angel due date but adding an extra day on DD goes back to her dads on weds after school so she will get hardly anytime at all if it comes down to induction I could ask for an extra night with her but if I have to stay in hospital theres not much point.

All in all, am really quite upset and haven't stopped crying yet. I had such a good couple of optimistic days and now I'm back to hormonal tears

Aww, Abis I'm so sorry to hear things didn't go as you hoped. There's still a good chance that baby will get wiggling before Tuesday without any assistance though :grouphug: I can't believe how frustrating it must be to go 'over', especially if you already have a LO to plan around.

Really hope things go quickly and naturally for you afterall.

Congratulations Scarlet! hope you are feeling ok and enjoying your first days with your new daughter!

Abi massive hugs, I can't imagine how you feel but I was speaking to my friend yesterday and she said at her sweep they couldn't reach her cervix and yet her baby arrived 2 days later. So please don't give up hope, our bodies are unpredictable and it doesn't mean you will have to wait until Tuesday. Go put your comfiest clothes on, have a hot drink and watch something good on tv

Awww Abis mahoosive hugs xx But remember yesterday you had plug go and they've done one sweep. Second babies pop in and out all the time so baby might surprise you later on tonight or tomorrow. Have you got any long walks planned for the weekend to encourage baby southwards? Try to keep yourself relaxed though and not get too worked up as they can sense these things, so can our bodies xx

Thanks ladies. I know I'll be ok soon. Just having a feeling sorry for myself hour or 2

I'm a control freak so I really hate this stage, especially having DD to think of too. I know I'm putting too much pressure on myself for things to work out the way I want them to and then getting stupidly disappointed when it doesn't work out like in my 'plans'.

If/when I get to induction day I will be much better as things are more structured and 'planable' iyswim.

I think I could do to relax kerri

The midwife said I'll need some good contractions to get my cervix going but whereas 1-2 weeks ago I was getting loads - now I only get the odd one. Hopefully my plug going means something tho and that I will get started on my own
