Enjoy your weekend away Kerri!
Had a nice evening out with girlfriends (all mums) last night, nice dinner and lots of chatting! They are trying to organise a baby shower but struggling with dates as everyone has different Christmas plans, so it might end up v close to due date! Got home v late and bed after midnight, first time in ages!!
Today is going to be a quiet one, a bit of housework, some online shopping (baby shopping and Xmas shopping) and preparing Xmas parcels for sister in Australia and cousins in NZ so I can post them in the week. Hubby going to pick up new car later though still in pjs now a bit hungover from his night out!!fran-o0 -

Back from the sale with a whole pile of baby and toddler books
Tickled pink as there were a lot that I had been planning on buying and they only cost a few pennies each
The nappies are washing away and I am going to wash down the woodwork in the nursery and plan where the pics are going to be hung :jTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
36 weeks today
How are you doing Lily?
Rummer, so glad it's not just us that have started amassing baby and toddler books - It started with DH buying a copy of his favourite children's book (Peepo) and we now have half a shelf and counting :rotfl:
iceicebaby - nice to see you, gosh your section is close! How do you feel?
Fran, glad you had a nice evening and it's not just me and my friends who are struggling with organising a baby shower! I'm a little bit concerned too because the last 2 baby showers I've been to have ended with the woman going into labour that night  Mine is next Sunday and I'll be 37+1, scary times...
So, so tired today - didn't get to bed until late as spent some time with hubby before he went to London for the weekend. I have some friends coming over for dinner later so should really tidy up a little, so CBA though! :rotfl:0 -
Hello all.
Just popping on to say if anyone has or is getting the tommee tippee prep machine to hold onto your receipt. I ordered mine on the 10th Oct so possibly had it from the 12th Oct. Then 2 days ago it suddenly stopped working, it dispensed water at the start and that was it, all lights went off. Rang tommee tippee and they said yep its broken, when they go they go.
So back to toysrus today. They were fine, they did have to test it 1st to make sure it didn't work and luckily for us they were okay us printing off our invoice as I hadn't kept the delivery note.
Not saying they stop working often but at £79.99 that I paid you either want your money back or a replacement.
Hope everyone is doing well. Got my little girls 8 week old jabs next Wednesday, lots of cuddles will be at the ready. Here is a quick pic update of her from yesterday when we went to our 1st baby play group.

:j I had a baby filled day today :j
First I washed the reusable nappies. Then I got a bundle of books from the local fair. When I got home I washed all the baby clothes we have been given and washed down all the woodwork in the nursery. Hubby swapped the broken part of the unit and when he got home started to put it all together. Mum arrived with a pile of baby things and I booked my nursing bra fitting. Finally I ordered lots of wooden bits to allow me to make some toys, thank you Kerri. I also have plans for making many more
Now I am relaxing with a baby magazine and a film.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Dare we hope?!?
Also, Zippy, really hoping you're home now and feeling much better xx0 -
Thanks Amy, I am indeed home (since v late last night) and haven't been sick since over 36 hours ago
feel fine sickness wise now but every muscle and ligament used to wretch are absolutely killing today
and of course that's when my body thinks picking up a cold would be a good idea - sneezing has not been fun today  hoping I feel better after another (hopefully) good night's sleep... MiniZee is at least 1/5 engaged now too, which explains the pelvic pressure/pain/sensations I've been having and why sometimes I'm reduced to micro steps when walking/waddling
hip is constantly to escape it's socket atm too
How are you doing?
Badly, they do seem rather on the ball at this hospital for most things I've encountered so far, so I'm hoping it's a sign of good things to come.
