I think I managed to add everyone on to the list ok - but let me know if I missed anyone out...

Hi abis, i seem to have vanished as I was the team yellow after Becca with a due date of 3rd March. Jenni_fer was slightly ahead at a due date of 25th Feb I think. Thank you. :)

We bought our first baby grow yesterday just so that people would stop going on about us not having bought anything yet. When the house purchase is more progressed we'll buy the nursery furniture in the January sales along with some other bits and pieces. We've also virtually decided on getting the Uppababy Vista travel system, although I still think the Silvercross Wayfarer is beautiful.

My physiotherapist has given me a belt to wear around my lower hips to stabilise my pelvis. It's incredibly tight, digs in my lower belly, must be worn all day every day, and gives my an obvious muffin top on my sides at trouser pocket height. :rotfl: Oh well, it does appear to be helping keep me mobile so there's worse things. I now just need to improve my diet, as I feel bad about not eating enough fruit and veg. How much dairy does everyone else eat a day as I want the baby to get its calcium from my diet and not my teeth? :)
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

Thanks Kynthia - I knew I'd done something wrong. Had to go to an old list as the numbers had disappeared on some of the recent ones and when I pressed backspace it lost my post, so I re-did it the lazy way and knew something was amiss, lol!! Hope your hip pain is eased by the belt altho it sounds more like a torture device!

Amy - hope the sweep went well and you are progressing with things now.

Vic - sounds like you will be sorted then with what you have packed. We are about 40 mins away from hospital but DH won't be allowed to stay (unless I'm in labour) overnight so if I do stay in then he will have to pop back home anyways. And we have DD to consider too. So I figured he can get replacement things then if necessary. My bag is already quite large, lol! I'm no good at packing - I do like to take the kitchen sink!!!

Sidney - my quinny zapp went mouldy too in the garage :( I bought a quinny buzz and replaced my mothercare pram of DD's that I was so definitely gonna keep - until the quinny buzz popped up on a local selling site for a good price and in my favourite colour :D Sometimes these things are just meant to happen :rotfl:

Well, I still feel rubbish despite not getting out of bed all day long. Don't want DH to go to work tomorrow :( Its helpful him being able to get me drinks etc. I did have a mini tantrum at one point today followed by a huge crying fit so I bet he will be glad to get back to work :o And I've spent too much money online shopping too cos I've been bored :o It did cheer me up tho buying some party clothes for DD :D

    Hi all

Not really been on much just plodding alone moaning everyday....surprise my DH hasn't left me!!!! I'm even bored on myself moaning.

Woke up this morning with a sore throat and runny nose, it went soon afterwards but I hope it's not the start of something......what can I take if I do fall ill?? I normally reply on lemsips but these are off the menu!!

Found out yesterday my brother is expecting his first child around June next year.....unfortunately circumstances are bad...1 night stand with a friend so no relationship at all. Brother is distroyed completely upset but is determine to support the child. Don't think we will have much contact, I have a feeling he will be a Sunday afternoon dad once a month. From a completely selfish view I am gutted, my baby won't be centre of attention next year (first grandchild on my side) I feel really annoyed about it but I know my baby will be well looked after by my family....arghh hormones are driving me mad about this!!! I feel a right selfish !!!!! but can't help how I feel at the moment. On the other hand thou I really hope my brother works things out with this girl.

Right better go and check my chicken that's roasting as DH will be home soon from work.

    Sorry ladies for the moan

I had a big day out today and got my xmas shopping done which is a huge relief and then hubby took us all out for dinner :D Pretty tired so I am hoping that I finally sleep through the night!

Opened the nursery furniture yesterday and one of the pieces is snapped so we will have to return it :( Frustrating as we won't be able to get there for a few days.

I should be doing some housework but I think I might put on a movie and relax :D

Don't panic, doesn't necessarily mean anything. Keeping my fingers crossed for you :A

I am now home. Yay. The hospital faffed around for a few days and eventually decided that my test results were okay so they let me go :T Very happy to be home.

Hope everyone else is doing okay. xxx

So am I. I felt like a bit of a bed-hogger to be honest. I think they were just concerned about letting me go in case anything happened.

I won't be upset if I never hear the phrase 'very poor obstetric history' ever again.

That's a bit tactless of them. Nethertheless, I'm glad you were cared for and they kept a close eye on you.
