Baba - your nursery is gorgeous, I'm jealous! I can't even decide what stickers we should get for ours. So talented.

Just heard a good joke on the radio that thought might bring a smile to some faces of those overdue :) Are you ready....it's such a Dad joke....

Thanks guys :) I used wall stickers as inspiration and created Pinterest boards and then kind of just mashed them together a bit to create something new.

Ahh trina sounds like your due date will be your actual date! Us boldies better get our move on tomorrow and clear the October backlog out of the way... Halloween newborn party anyone?!

I think I've just felt my first proper bout of Braxton Hicks whilst walking down the road to the shop. Although they were felt really low down. My bump went really solid for about 20 seconds each time. Least I know now that both baby and her Daddy disapprove of me going out for cake!

    Hi Ladies,

Congratulations to all the recent births - can't remember who had popped when I last posted. Hope the other boldies are soon meeting their babies too :j:j

I'm officially on maternity leave now :j:j So pleased - altho its not gone ever so much to plan so far as DD was up allllll night the first night with a sickness bug, so we had to cancel our day out we had planned, and then this morning the rabbit died :( So today has been a sad day too - and I can't seem to get caught up on my sleep. I do hope I cope a little better when baby arrives!!

I had a consultant appt today as they wanted to speak to me again about my birthing plan as I had a bad tear last time - but nothing had changed luckily so I am pleased with how it went. I had a trainee measure my bump tho so I am now wayyyy off the graph but I suspect it could have been her technique :o

Everything else seems to be going really well with baby tho. We booked in for a bump shoot on sunday & Monday :D Sunday is a general one with DH and DD, but on Monday I am painting my belly and me and DD are having a little mini shoot. The photographer did some bump painting shoots for me for free when she was starting out to boost both our profiles (I'm a self employed facepainter/body artist) - so I do feel like I should have one done with my own bump. Still in a bit of a quandary as to what to paint tho - I want to design my own one and have it special to us - but then its harder than it sounds to think of the right thing, lol!! Now I understand how my ladies feel when they are choosing :rotfl:

Congratulations CoMP. Stories like yours make me very thankful we live where we do and hospitals have the facilities to make sure baby arrives safely when things start going a bit pearshaped.

So pleased baby Jessica arrived safely as thats really the only thing that matters. I love both the names too :D

Afm, got sent to hospital yesterday for monitoring and scan. Everything seems okay thankfully. The sonographer was showing me everything in a lot of detail - including the mop of hair she already has! Predicted birth weight of 6lb 5oz based on current size (small) so we'll see how accurate that is.

Looking forward to some more birth announcements in November. Does anyone have any contact with Kittenpie? I guess she must have had her baby by now but I haven't seen her for a while.

She had her lovely little boy 3 weeks ago :)

Congratulations COMP! :j:D sorry it's not the birth experience got wanted but there's things can't be helped oftentimes :) very happy for you :D

I was given antibiotics (somewhat unnecessarily IMO) on Monday and now I have a very uncomfortable case of thrush :( Hoping the cream and the acidophilus capsules I keep popping in between antibiotics sorts it out fast - it developed far too fast and I'm worried is gonna get much worse :(

Can't believe I've done 3 quarters of full term now... It seems like nothing and forever all at once, and like it'll be ages before bubs is here, yet it could be as little ('full term') as 7 weeks...!
