I am still unwell and getting bored of it now! I am going to be stuck in the house soon enough and I would rather spend the next few months out and about doing things and seeing people. Plus while I am ill the nursery is not getting done

Angelmommy- love the pics!! I always thought I would go a hit overdue as its my first but I still always had Oct in my mind- looking unlikely now!

I have tried everything now too, nothing works! I suppose these babies really will just come out when they're ready, boo!

That's a really cute cardi TL! :T I think you're right about the wool, she seems to be using really fluffy stuff which just doesn't seem to give it a nice finish? I don't know, I know nothing about knitting! My Mum's been working on a little jacket for my nephew for about a year (by the time she finishes it it'll be too small for him so will have to be given to my LO!;)) and it's got a really nice smooth finish so I'll ask her what she's using/where it's from.

Congratulations COMP!

I'm in a grump today, yesterday felt sick, had strong BH & lower back pain, even OH who never thinks the baby is coming said 'tonights the night' !!
Here i am in bed, period pains (not bh) back ache, but nothing!

For someone on their 3rd baby, I cannot believe how much she is messing me about!! I've never had this! 3wks I've been having symptoms/signs plus the midwife saying it's imminent! Gone further than last pg (i'm 37+2) but me & OH have a really busy weekend with work, and she needs to be out before or after!

Not that she's going to listen! Need to get out of bed & get some washing done :-(

Rebekah... I was twelve days over but Jessica was over stimulated by the pessary - contractions every two minutes but only two centimeters dilated and head not engaged. They took me to delivery suite to break my waters to put a drip up to speed me along which is when they found the meconium. On top of that her heart rate dropped with contractions so all in all they were quite concerned. Think it was just a random reaction to the party rather than anything else.

Angelmommy chico has made my day!!!! Haaa bless him. I bet he rocks the look eventually.

My wall is nearly finished - wooop. Just need to do outlining and then I have the rest of the room to organise, but at least I think I have everything for that - just needs to be put in the right place.

Not looking forward to running out of tasks to do, I'm not very good at sitting still..

Good lord I'm number 2!!! :eek: I can remember when I was no 42!
9 days overdue and counting. Come on baby!!!

Birdie85 - Is she using normal wool or baby wool? Baby wool is much much softer and not as fluffy as normal wool.
(My mum is a keen knitter and we have lots of lovely soft cardigans and jumpers!)

poppy no movements here at all although the sweep went well. My next one is Friday but I was hoping to be done before then. November is sneaking up on me..!

Your painting looks fab! Well done! I'm v impressed.

Second sweep booked tomorrow then induction on Saturday. I am still hopeful that something will happen today but I have secretly resigned myself to a November baby now.

Ahh poppy I have resigned myself to having a November baby too. Maybe we shall cross to the dark side together...

My next sweep is on Friday, was kind of hoping that it wouldn't happen but there is no sign of anything occurring without it.
