ooh fingers crossed Trina!
we're having an owl theme as a) it's well cute and b) there's loads of owl stuff around lol
we're guna have three walls lilac then the big wall a darker purple with these

so it looks like dusk in the hope of convincing little one that it's a sleepy place to be lol x
that is lovelywe are also going with an owl theme as I am a bit owl obsessed anyway :rotfl: and as you said there's loads of owl stuff around. I think this is the same as our wall stickers; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Owl-Wall-Stickers-Animal-Flower-Tree-Butterfly-Decor-Mural-Decal-Nursery-Room-/251289019196?pt=UK_Wallpaper&hash=item3a81fe233c it looks lovely up, really colourful but blends with the neutral magnolia walls. We were sent 2 trees and also have some different owls too so a bit more than pictured but it looks really nice I am so pleased
can't decide whether to look for an owl themed lampshade/ make one or if it'll be OTT?!

trina I'm sorry it was poppy that I was thinking of!
What with your names being so similar :S!0 -
I love all the owly stuff too KScarlet so I'd say go for it, more is more! I started an owl cross stitch before even getting pregnant (how's that for PMA!) thinking that we'd be having this lovely woodland themed nursery, but now it's totally different and the cross stitch will stick out like a sore thumb!
Ah well, I made it so I'll display it (if I ever finish it!)

ooooh that's a great idea Birdie! halfway through a blanket for little one but a lovely cross stitch wouldn't go amiss.

LOL, yeah my DH was gutted when I came home with cross stitch kits, having already got a cupboard full of papercraft supplies he thought I couldn't possibly need any more hobby stuff!

Congratulations nene!!
Sorry your work colleagues haven't been great, scarlett - mine were amazing and still are. I've had contact from three different people in the office since I started mat leave and surprisingly none of it has been work related. All men, all asking how I'm feeling and if bump has arrived. The latest was actually today from my line manager who is stuck at home because of storm related transport issues and he was apparently worried about me getting to hospital in the storm.
My husband loves owls too - in dunelm mill they have a set of three little owl canvases which we've got on the wall in the nursery along with a doorstop from matalan.
Hope everyone is ok

Congratulations Nene, TTC and the other person I think I may have missed (sorry, baby brain is definitely resident here!) Does this mean we get more baby pics soon?!? :j :j :j
Bit of a random question: does anyone else have a super stealthy baby? My little terror makes enormous movements and sticks entire limbs out of my tummy, but becomes absolutely serene the second I point it out to anyone else :rotfl: She's making me look delusional!0 -
Haha, yes Amyloofoo!
This week I would say she has got violent! kicking & punching & hurting quite a bit! Each night for an hour or so. Last night I was sure my bag would break, I kept gasping & wincing it was so strong!
Can't believe she is that strong! (37wks):j - DS - 7
