Ended up delivering with just gas and air as they couldn't get epidural in. I was cut & stitched. Is it witch hazel that's recommended for use after? What do you do with it?

I'm tender down there & also feel like my body has whip lash! But other than that I'm ok and am in love with our daughter.

Congrats on the safe arrival of Lucy, as well as witchhazel I found arnica tablets very good and also putting some tea tree oil in a bath

I am good thanks, last day at work!!! Feel so relieved to be finishing, management have popped in didn't even say good luck though just 'see you around' no card, nothing I did pop into Tescos earlier though and bought baby a couple more outfits (half price!) and a lovely 'popcorn' blanket http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-loves-baby-popcorn-pram-blanket-white/741-2045.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=741-2045 reduced to £6 so feel better for treating myself/ baby (is that really odd?!) Hips/ pelvis are very painful but I realise some ladies are in much more pain so I consider myself lucky. We added some more wall stickers yesterday, still the leaves to add but the room looks lovely maybe a little OTT with stickers as I didn't realise there was 2 sets but I am sure the baby will love it :rotfl:hope you are ok too? xx

Well little Edward was born this morning at 02:20 weighing 8lb 4oz. Hes so adorable. I lost a bit of blood so im still in hospital annoyingly. Hoping to go home this afternoon.

Afternoon ladies! Hope all is well with those overdue, I know it's hell, DS1 was 10 days over!

Well I've made it to 37wks, which is a relief, hopefully shorter stay in hosp and healthier baby :-)

I've realised I haven't ordered my TENS and think it'll be too late by the time it gets here. Are there any shops you can go in & rent straight away? Boots/Mcare? don't want to pay & it's delivered when I've already had her!

I know its really silly as I shouldn't expect anything, even a card, but I just hoped for more of a 'goodbye'. I was planning on getting everything upto date but not sure I will bother...;)
