Brunettegirl Sorry you are having such a tough time of it. I would talk your fears over with your HCP and see what they have to say. I am due to be induced when I get to 38 weeks and I am anxious about it already too.

    Nene Congratulations :j

Kerri Glad you finalyl got a good nights sleep!

I am still unwell and so tired. Looking forward to shaking this off and getting back to baby prep.

    Congratulations TTC40!!! :j

Congratulations nene!!! Glad you're both home and well.

However, as petty as this may sound, I am SOOOO jealous!!! :o :rotfl:

41+1 today - am i going to be a boldie forever?!?!?!

Induction booked for Saturday - fingers crossed there's some action this week! Starting to feel like a bit of a failure if I'm honest, like my body isn't capable of doing what it's supposed to :(
Texts from friends and family asking 'any news yet?' really not helping :(

trina I'm sorry it was poppy that I was thinking of!

What with your names being so similar :S!

Hehe hello! Yes the sweep was a good one technically, but still no labour. Got another one on Thursday. Hope you have some progress soon!!

Can you ask for a sweep earlier than 41 weeks? I have one booked for the weekend but am ridiculously impatient now. Although I suppose impatience isn't a valid medical reason for the midwives!

Probably depends on your area. I had mine at 40+4, where I live they plan your induction date then come to your house and do a sweep twice before that date.

It's all very quiet in here today! Is it the calm after yesterday's storm? Little miss is very quiet too today, but when she kicks today, by god do I know about it! Finally got letter through 2 weeks later after talking to midwife about SPD, for it to say yes we agree, now call this number.Boooo! Got GTT tomorrow, anyone had it done? I dont think I do have GD as I have none of the symptoms but as BMI was higher than average away I go. (even midwife wouldnt believe the BMI and had to do 4 times as said I didnt look over weight and as I do alot didnt believe I should be at all!) As a short a$$ I think I just must be very compact! lol

Jemb I'm having it done for the same reason, although my BMI is a lot more believable lol I've heard from others that you should take something to keep you amused as it's a very dull morning and you're not allowed to move much, just gotta sit still for two hours. nobody i know who's had the test had GD though, which makes it seem like a slight waste of time but I'd rather know than not

little miss must've had a growth spurt as she's very active today and I've just found my first bright red stretch mark :( will have to get some stuff to rub in and hopefully keep them the silvery ones, i don't mind them lol

My auntie came round last night and mentioned how good her dil's nursing chair is. so i'm looking at them now but i don't like the look of them, even though i know they're well comfy. would love an old fashioned rocking chair though

    Hiyaa

Sorry I've been busy painting today - but just ran out of brown and my liner isn't working very well... so off to get ready to go out and go try purchase more! Want to get it finished now... then I have one more doorframe to prime and we're nearly there (pre gloss).

    Progress to date: http://imgur.com/a/4QuMW#MDVIj5r

poppy no movements here at all although the sweep went well. My next one is Friday but I was hoping to be done before then. November is sneaking up on me..!

This is the karma I was talking about after sneakily getting the bargain Halloween outfit. Destined not to be worn... or just to have some confusing weekend looks maybe. Ooh, maybe I could gatecrash a party and it would then be totally legit.

    Sorted.

If you find somewhere that sells the old fashioned rocking chairs for a decent price, please let me know! I can still remember my mom rocking me when I was little (I had night terrors every night until I was 6, then panic attacks until I was 10) in our rocking chair, and I loved that thing. She still has it, but as it's in the US, and I'm now in the UK, it would be a bit difficult/expensive to ship it. :(

I'd like a nursing chair because they look so comfy but we don't really have space, don't want the room to be really cluttered and have to move furniture every time we need to open drawers and/or the wardrobe! :o May be rethinking that once baby's here though in case being moved into other rooms for night feeds wakes him up too much... just another one of those 'we'll review it when we need to' things. :)

Nusery is looking lovely Baba. :) Hope you get a Halloween baby so the costume can be worn! :)

MW appointment was fine this morning, mine are all really boring as there's nothing to talk about apart from usual aches and pains! :o There was a student MW in there with her too who complimented me on my neat bump though so that's nice, don't want an untidy one! :)

    Hi all,

Have been reading but not posting much as I dont have much to add other than I am fed up of being pregnant now :rotfl: Cant believe I am 10th on the list though!! Really hoping I dont go over (or at least not too far over).

Feeling very stressed about how little money we have at the minute, and also feeling very guilty that we are bringing a second child into a situation where we are trying to pay off debts and just make ends meet :(

    Hope everyone else is well.
