Congratulations Fluffysox!
Angelmommy, our DD was born on the night the clocks went back in 2011 - she was born at a couple of mins to midnight. The only way it impacted us was the hourly checks immediately after birth - they missed a couple and I got confused by the times! But it was strange that she was 25 hours old when she was exactly one day old IYKWIM! My friend (who I met at antenatal) was in the next room down, she had her little one at 2.30am and they recorded the time as 1.30am. It doesn't really matter apart from being an interesting story to tell! And it makes it sound like you were in labour for 1 hour less than you were :rotfl: which means you lose out on martyr points lol.
I was more concerned that DD was born on the day Jimmy Saville died - really didn't need his face grinning down on me from ITV News while I tried to get through *another* contraction :eek:0 -
Sorry only just managed to get on internet.
Baby Jason Anthony was born yesterday (22nd) at 6:03pm weighing 8lb.
He is beautiful. Labour pains were pretty irregular even in established labour. Ended ip needing forceps to help get him out. Haven't even tried to breastfeed this time. He is happy and I am able to share the load with DH while I'm sore0 -
Hello ladies and bumps,
Congratulations fluffysox!
Just wanted to let you know baby girl (!!!!!) Eve Josephine was born last night weighing 7lb 11 oz and is absolutely perfect, the labour was tough and ended vwith emergency forceps as she was really struggling and turned out to have the cord around her neck but I'd do every second again for her.
In a weird coincidence she was born exactly a year to the day that we went for a scan only a floor below and found we were having our 3rd miscarriage so I was pretty emotional about that. I like that we came full circle in that year.
Thinking if you all and will be keeping an eye out for lots of announcements in the next few days!

Yey for babies arriving! :j :j :j Congratulations to lemon and fluffy :j
BabaMoose your nursery is going to be amazing! Those so-called doodles are incredible :j
BZ - it's partly because of my dodgy joints, but also because I have a badly fractured coccyx that they're concerned may pose issues during a vaginal delivery. It doesn't help that I have anxiety problems too, so the thought of having a 'planned' section is much more palatable than the 'try it and see if you need an emergency section' approach for me.0
