That we were!! Although I wouldn't hold your breath - contractions all day yesterday, but stopped again today. I swear this baby knows when I have midwife appointments and gets stage fright!

Other than that I feel a row brewing with 'him upstairs' (hubby not god!). When he got in from work last night he asked what time the midwife is today so I told him 12.00. His response? "Hmmm. I'll see if I feel like coming with you when I get up". :1mad: Given that this is the appointment where we talk and book induction, am I being unreasonable wanting my husband there for that???

Baba, your 'doodles' are so cute! You're a very clever lady, looking forward to seeing it all finished so hurry up! ;)

Thank you! Thank you to everyone who commented, very kind. I would be opting for wall stickers too if I wasn't going attempting a cheap and cheery baby - poor thing is just getting this because it is free :)!

However today is listing day getting rid of old stuff, which I imagine will take the whole day... tomorrow is D-Day but I feel like I've got another few weeks left... so hopefully the doodles can be coloured in over the weekend if my waters stay put. The other option is to ask the OH to fill in the blanks..................... HA

Fingers crossed for Toothfairy today :):) !!

God :rotfl::T:rotfl: Yes God would be more gentle on you than hubby LOL. Yea men are so laid back about these things! Although all the last minute talk of C Sections etc was done at hte hosppital for me and he had to be there as I couldnt get there otherwise. Men!!

Ah I wouldn't be prepared for induction until 42+0 me. If your contracting all be it irregular then something is gonna happen in the next few days.

Worry not says me. Your body know's what it's doing ;)

But I'm a stubborn old cow me!

I'm doing pretty well considering, and can't wait to meet little Miss Foo :) Has your consultant given you a definite date by when you'll all reach a decision? I know what you mean about being in two minds, but I feel much calmer now there's a plan in place (at one stage I was crying because I wanted a home birth in water so we've really gone round the houses with it :rotfl:). My consultant won't set a date for the section until my 36 week appointment and has said I'm free to change my mind right up until that stage, and physio have also offered to support me with whichever choice is made... have you had some input from them too?

I am glad you are doing ok :) I was meant to have a decision and date last week but my consultant is still thinking to attempt natural birth as I have respiratory issues that don't mix well with anaesetics (sp?!) however my spinal consultant wants a section. I'm not under physio atm as after 3 years of it I was referred for other treatments with manipulation being the most recent that I couldn't have due to my pregnancy (phew!) I should have a decision next week hopefully. A section would probably be my preferred option but I'm a little scared about it! Also the idea of not being able to drive for 6 weeks will be a pain with DH working away. X
Trying to save for a deposit
    4000/ 10000 saved so far..
  • Awake with (what i would call) pretty strong pains every 6ish minutes, having to breathe through them. I hope it is actually something starting this time and not another false start!

I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:
  • God I hate being hormonal! I haven't cried through this pregnancy at all, just gone to heat up my risotto from last night and had a little cry because OH threw my dinner away from last night which I could have had today for lunch :(

    Stupid hormones :(

    Those I do not miss!!

Everyone always asks when you have had baby about how you're feeling/coping, but with all three of mine I've felt absolutely fine after birth, its during pregnancy that I'm a crazy lady!!
