Where's the best place to get raspberry leaf tea from? Does it taste horrible?! I'm not a fan of fruity teas!

I may be late and someone might have already said but I got mine delivered from H&B as they were £1 and delivery was free (no code, was just what they were doing, might still be) - also went through TCB so worked out cheaper :) At the time it was something silly like around 13% cashback I think - it was due to run out in 6 days though, and I can't remember how long ago it was (complete baby brainfog, I have no idea what day it is).

I personally quite like it... but I like most fruity teas, and the only hot drinks I drink are fruit teas or non-lactose hot chocolates so my taste buds may be a little off :)!

As daft as it sounds im really disappointed baby wont be here in Sept, unless something happens super quick this afternoon/evening. Id just prepared myself for a sept baby after being told my due date, so all along I've been used to saying 'Sept' and is just feels weird to think Oct now.

I understand that feeling. I'm due late Oct but if i go overdue to 41+4 and over then it'll be a November baby, which I feel really sad about. I've had October Baby in my head for so long.
Lucky OH is going to get to try some natural induction methods with me from 38/39 weeks I think!;)

Hmm heartburn is a really odd sensation, to me it almost feels like I've swallowed a mint whole except it lasts for hours....i can't quite decide whether I want to take anything for it, or just put up with the weirdness.

Yeah it's horrible isn't it. I get it at night and it feels like my dinner is creeping back up my throat. Sometimes I even do little sicky burps :( I find Tums are good, they are gentle but effective. I tend to have one just before bed if I've had a heavy dinner. I've even had one at 3am after waking up with bad heartburn before.
  • I agree Poppy, Tums are by far the nicest tasting (still gross though!). I have 2 before bed every night then usually wake up at about 3am needing another :( That's one of the things i'm looking forward to most - not having to eat those things for a long, long time!

Brunettegirl - I totally agree with badlywrittenpoem. I think it is disgusting in this day and age that you have not seen a midwife in 22wks! I'm also surprised your gp didn't look into it when you saw him/her. My best friend (3rd baby) sailed through all her pregnancies and went to her normal midwife app at 30wks, to be rushed in for an emergency c-section as she had severe pre-eclampsia (HELLP). She had to have surgery herself. Luckily both she and baby are now ok although he was touch and go for a while - he only weighed 1lb9oz - the tiniest little person I have ever seen. Not trying to worry you but please, go get urine and bp checked this week - I will worry about you!

  • Welcome jem! Nice to get some new people as we have had loads of births recently and the list is shrinking a bit :)

Still having the period type pains today. DH and i DTD last night and i lost a bit more plug afterwards, hoping all these are signs that things are moving along!

Just worked out what DtD means!

Afm first day on mat leave and knackered but col seems to be lifting. Struggling with pains when I get up really low down. Mum (ex midwife) just says "it's your ligamanets" which is fine, but is there anything I can do? Getting out of bed hurts so much as now concerned Ill be rubbish during labour. I mentioned at 8 weeks apt that I was considering water birth but not heard anything since.

Also guess it's time I went on the list! Due 25/10/13 with another girl a yet no name as struggling to compromise!

You're right Baba they are still £1 for 20 tea bags. Also the 400mg capsules are 1/2 price at the mo as well!
First baby due October 2013 :j

There is a great nappy offer on the Grabbit board. I am planing on using reusables but some disposables for emergencies will be handy :D
