Had a cruel dream last night that my waters had broken, woke up very excited to discover I was in fact overheating in bed! Think I'll tackle the garden today in the hope that all the bending set something off. Well I can hope!

To those taking EPO, what dosage do you have? And how is it supposed to go in?! I've heard of people using the traditional and the more invasive... Have some left over from pre-prego so thought it might be worth a try.

  • Hi everyone

:hello: I'm moving over from the 12-24 week thread. I've had a bit of a read back but this thread seems to be moving very fast! I'm 25 weeks - still feel a long way from having my baby though! This is my second child and DD will be 2 at the end of the month. She was very well behaved and arrived promptly 2 minutes before her due date  so I am hoping for the same again.

DH is busy tonight so I will enjoy having a catch up and reading about the fun which is still to come (I know I've done it all once before but I've forgotten most of it already)

Not sure what the set up is with lists etc but my vitals are

So many babies coming this month! Love it. .. good luck everyone. Afm... niggles have tapered off this morning which I don't understand as I felt quite rough last night with it! ! Due date tomorrow. Right now it looks like I'm going overdue unless I start niggling again! It's so loud at home with garden and I need a nap!! And sister will be here soon to finish a murial in nursery. Bitten off way more than I can chew at 40 weeks pregnant! Hope everyone else is OK xxx

Happy October everybody - eeeeeep to all the fellow October due-date ladies  (soon... soon...)

Thank you trina2010 for updating the list, I nearly did it but chickened out thinking I was going to accidentally delete folk/put unexpected list ladies in bold etc. etc.

Hi to jemb and mincepiemonster! Welcome to the thread.

Fingers crossed the niggles return Bangton! Exciting times :)

I'm currently waiting for my carpet fitter to arrive... He said he'd come today but he never said a time... but then I never asked what time... I will sit and drink RLT and contemplate where to lay the blame/eat biscuits I think. It's a tough life.

I know this is on the Daily Mail website but probably worth returning the Start Your Senses Zebra toy if you've got one as it contains a colour dye that could cause cancer:

38 weeks today. And its October!!!!! Been telling my DS for weeks that baby brother is coming in October and the leaves will fall off the trees. He is loving finding leaves on the pavement already since they've already started to fall.

Got a sweep this morning- feeling nervous. Couldn't sleep last night - felt like I'd had six cups of coffee!

Was at Docs yesterday with DS and he made the receptionists "squeeze me in" for a flu jab tomorrow assuming I am able to attend, its the first clinic- filled up straight away but otherwise I won't get one. Rarely see same doctor at our surgery and some frankly don't fill me with confidence but this one is fab and I am grateful that he took an interest and stood up for me.

    Best get a move on:eek:

  • Well no September baby for me, joining a lot of you for an October baby now. I was really hoping something would happen last night as massaged my clary sage oil onto my tummy and within a short time had what I can only describe as stitch like pains at the bottom of my tummy and baby was going crazy moving all about.

To be honest though tempted to leave the oil till actually in labour rather than waste it all on making labour start. Have resorted to the fact that baby is obviously happy ( do admit to using my doppler every day to make sure now) and will arrive when they're ready, well unless Saturday arrives and then baby's time to decide themselves will have run out.

I did a quick read on libra's seeing as thats baby's star sign and I cracked up when I read "They’re also known as ‘Lazy Libran’ because they don’t like to make decisions. They’re just happy to go with the flow."

Going to try and not mope about today and get stuck into some jobs rather than like yesterday when I was just in a fed up mood.

I'm sure I speak for us all when I say "us lot" welcome you in to our October club with open arms :)

More seriously - Hugs for not getting a Sept baby, must be frustrating after so long with that date in your head. Just think, October babies have those few more days to make friends at school before their birthday party invites go out ;)
