Lily which iCandy did you go for?!
Apple 2 Pear. It's the new one - so new they didn't even have samples of the colours to show me! I've had a Peach (blossom) before and really didn't like it. Far too much faffing about and it's very big and bulky.
I'm at the point now where I know exactly what I want and need in a buggy. Being able to change from a double to a single at the touch of a button and being able to fold it down with everything attached are the 2 most important things for us.
Plus, as we are about 95% certain this is it for us OH has let me buy exactly what I wanted. We don't need to buy anything else for her as we have it all already (I'm not really into putting girls in only pink so the clothes we have already are fine) so this is my treat. 4-6 weeks delivery so gives me time to sell my current one
Are you thinking of getting one?14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Ah I saw that in John lewis it looks good. What colour did you go for?
I'm stuck between iCandy peach 2,bugaboo cameleon & mamas & papas sola.
Confusing!!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -

Chilli, mostly because we have a red cabriofix and I'm a bit funny about things matching! It's also gender neutral if we sell.
As I said, the Peach isn't my idea of a user-friendly pushchair but that's just because it just doesn't fit our circumstances. I drive everywhere and having to take everything apart really did my head in. It's also very heavy. Having sad that, I know lots of people who love theirs. Chameleon is nice but alas not a double and the Sola is (I think) the best value of all 3 you're considering.
Pushchair shopping is brilliant and awful at the same time!14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
I've think I've come to the same decision re value. Unfortunately I've fallen in love with the very expensive Bugaboo.
I've just checked & I actually circled the apple in my John Lewis baby brochure so I think that was the one I actually liked? Another visit needed!
We are also thinking red as its neutral ishFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -

Haha, well, I can't comment. I've had more pushchairs than hot dinners. The one they had at the babyshow was red and to be honest, I wasn't really considering it until I saw it. It's actually very nice and much more practical than the beige colour. At the end of the day, pushchairs get very dirty and light colours show all the marks!
Black is always good (but a bit boring)

And a very good decision that was too! I will no doubt regret getting it in red when it's got mud stains and orange babyfood gunk all over it!
I'm doing okay thanks. Just over 2 weeks 'till my daughters anniversary so it's always a bit of a tough time of year. Being busy is helping though.
Looking forward to all of Octobers birth announcements though, they'll be lots!14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
But red is pretty!
How are the scans going?
Sorry it's a tough time for you at the moment. Hugs xDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
Has anyone heard that you shouldn't use deodorant while breastfeeding? Something to do with the aluminium getting in your milk? My friend keeps mentioning that she's not using much as she's worried about her eight week old baby ingesting it.
The thought hadn't occurred to me! I've been so hot and sweaty during pregnancy I've been spraying on deodorant and body spray constantly!0 -

As well as can be expected. She is tiny but growing enough between scans so no visible IUGR yet. I think I'm more worried than my consultant at this point. I do know they'll get whip her out regardless of gestation if there are any issues though so I need to try not to panic. I think she might be a decent weight - 6lbish - but physically she will be very small. Thats okay though, neither my husband, my son nor I are big (or even average!)
How long do you have left?
Locky - Can't say I have ever heard that before. Tbh, sounds a little bit paranoia-ee to me too.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130
