Congratulations Kayalana and Welsh!!!
Can't believe I'm 10th on the list now  no signs of anything at all for me. I think I will start getting fidgety at 39 weeks ish but I'm happy enough waiting at the moment!

Welsh and Kayalana - well done and huge congrats on your little boys. Your baby is gorgeous Kayalana - you little queue jumper!!!
Hoping your both feeling well and it's lovely to hear you had a positive birth experience Kayalana.
Good luck with growth scan Kerri. I had to have one too when I was 31 weeks as my bump didn't grow much between 25 and 31 weeks. Everything was fine though and it was nice to see my baby again!
AFM - well we finished the house doing up for all of 5 minutes last week. Now all of a sudden I find myself with a skip outside, having my garden dug up and flagged by my incredibly generous brother who has a week between jobs and didn't want to be 'bored' so is labouring for free. His electrician friend owes him a favour and so is popping some spotlights in the flags - labour free. So we are going from horrendously messy garden to ... well we'll see when it is finished! I was annoyed this morning as I felt mum and brother were pushing me to have it done when I'm tired and days away from due date but now I am happy. Hoping baby stays put till due date though as I really really want this finished first so OH, baby and I can close the door and be in our own world for 2 weeks !! Does anyone else feel like this?
Someone mentioned letting go of work (I've started typing so can't scroll back to see who) but I have been struggling to let go. I have been so busy for the 3 weeks since mine started that I've needed the time off but it still feels like a bit of a holiday. If I think too deeply about the fact I have more than 11 further months off I am a bit daunted. I've been in contact with friends from work, some of whom I am genuinely missing at this stage and I can't help but want to know just generically what they are up to, what work is in, what they are doing about working in different locations etc.
It's very weird and I am so grateful to be in the position where I can afford the year off as I know so many can't but, at the same time I feel like a bit of a spare part watching everyone around me work!!0 -
Thank you Bangton for putting my mind at ease
been sat here worrying. Just remembered they put my Mum's date back with my sister by 6w at one point, she had no idea when she'd be born but was a 7lber+

Aww bless you hun. Try not to worry. From what I've noticed on various pregnancy forums, including this one, many people have had them. I was lucky (ish) as I was already at hospital on the day mine was performed and due to static growth for 7 weeks they referred me straight for the scan as a priority that morning.
They acted very much like it was a major problem which was very frightening but when I got to the scan he was just under the 50th centile, so yes under average but not by very much. I'm sure scans do show up things that aren't very positive but I am not sure bump measurements tell enough of a story.
I'm sure you will post and say all is fine and for me once I realised all was ok (scanner confirmed it to me there and then) it was nice to find out his weight and measurements.
Best of luck and keep us updated.

Hi All
Congrats to Welsh and Kayalana
As for me, I had my little one by Caesarean Section on Monday - a girl called Faye and weighed 6lb 1oz so she's teeny but very gorgeous.
Just got out of hospital today after getting the all clear from the docs. Felt like I'd been sawn in half at first ( I suppose I sort of had!) but surprisingly not too bad now three days in.
Although I was desperate to get her out in the end I'm strangely missing being pregnant and having my bump - i'm delighted to have her, but it's the end of an era and we've already decided we're stopping at 2 so no more pregnancies for me.
Good luck to those who are due, and hope to see some of you on the newborn board.0
