  • Anyone who's taking raspberry leaf, are you having tea or capsules? Are the capsules stronger than the tea? I had a look in Asda for some teabags the other day but they didn't seem to have it...

  • Holland and Barrett do the raspberry leaf teabags and capsules. I've been told the capsules are stronger, but more expensive. I drank the tea last time and it did diddly squat!! I will try again this time round though, but might get the capusles

Been travel system shopping today. Fell in love with the cosatto giggle and am gutted to have found so many poor reviews on the internet- serious safety faults. Can anyone recommend something similar?

Like Toothfairy, I also have the Mamas and Papas Sola. We found travel system shopping such a minefield I simply joined Which for a month's trial at £1 and researched the best prams/car seats from there. The Sola was in the top 10 and not too pricey (we bought ours from M&P outlet for £140 but I think they retail at £319). It fit in our car boot and for this particular buy reviews really were important to me. No idea if it's similar to the giggle or not as I have never seen the giggle but I really recommend Which! if your just truly confused on what to get.

We bought an entirely different car seat (Recaro Young Profi Plus) though so it's not the complete travel system though you can get a car seat to fit on the Sola :)

I've also bought the Nappies via Becs link on Amazon so thank you for that. To get free delivery I bought 2 packs of size 1 and I have 2 small packs of size 2 that my mum picked up in Mothercare. After I've got through them I'm probably thinking I'll go with the Aldi Mamias (if anyone is thinking the same they are on offer at the moment though I can't remember the price).

Also in Aldi they have some 100% cotton cellular blankets for £2.99. I'm blanketed up to the eyeballs but these were so cheap I got a couple as spares!! :D

Toothfairy I've been contemplating raspberry leaf but having capsules not tea as I generally hate any sort of herbally style tea! Holland and Barrett defo sell it - capsules are £5.99. Not sure on cost of tea but it's cheaper than the capsules if your happy to drink it!

Last time I started off drinking the tea (didn't realise there was capsules!) and I soon got sick of it! Then I moved onto capsules as it was so much easier as I was often going to bed realising I hadn't had my cuppa or finding I didn't really feel like drinking it. Is isn't the nicest tea! As far as I know the capsules are stronger, I could only find them in Holland and Barrett so I've just ordered some along with calcium and arnica. I already have epo. x

I am not 100% sure if I am meant to take all of the above as I am not sure what type of delivery I will have but as I did it last time I want to again just incase I have a natural birth.

Vic I love the Cosatto Giggle! Cosatto have some lovely designs/ colours, I am not sure about the health & safety issues though. Like Bangton said its really worth paying £1 for a months trial of Which, some really useful information on there and actual safety tests. I've got a babyjogger pram we already had, I've bought a lovely carrycot for it though so it isn't as boyish!

Hugs Kayalana I hope baby comes soon for you xx

I really should be asleep :S

So sick of not being able to sleep at this point! Keep waking in the middle of the night and just can't get back to sleep.

I just want baby to come now, I'm pretty sure I actually got more sleep than I'm getting now when my older two were newborns!

At least I know I won't be going overdue this time which is something.

Oh yeah, and almost everyone !!!!es me off! Don't know whether its hormones, tiredness, the fact that I haven't been able to eat a variety of soft cheeses for nearly 9 months.

Anyway no more moaning from me, it will all be worth it in the end!!

    How are you scarlet?

Loads of reports of the plastic that attaches the front wheels to the pram snapping and the pram collapsing. I really wanted the treet design.

  • Good luck Welsh.
Piles are horrid :( ive ended up with them this pregnancy due to the amount of iron supplements ive had to take.
Still suffering lower back pain and period aches in my tummy. No show as yet. Everything stops as soon as i go to sleep. I was hoping it would happen at the weekend rather than on a school/work day but i doubt i'll be so lucky.

I am taking two cups of RLT and one 500mg capsule from Holland and Barrett. I think I could take more but I'm too scared ATM!! Maybe at 38 weeks I'll up the dose!!
Kscarlet - I also have epo which I'm taking now at 1 500mg capsule. And arnica for afterwards. What do you have the calcium for??

    Good luck Welsh!!
