Sometimes i like to imagine that im living on the breadline as a single mum with 3 children to feed and clothe, bills to pay and very little time to myself........ then i wake up and realise im a princess with prince charming by my side and a lovely white castle........ oh wait

Thanks for the tip Lola888 the Manduca is exactly what I'm after :) Although baby can't be outwards facing in it, is that correct??
    35+4

Outward facing isn't recommended because the baby's hips aren't properly supported. Also some carriers are not really suitable because of the placement if you check out http://www.hipdysplasia.org/developmental-dysplasia-of-the-hip/prevention/baby-carriers-seats-and-other-equipment/

Outward facing doesn't support the baby's hips properly, but once they are a bit older they can go on your back anyway if you do buy a Manduca. My LO didn't care if she was on my back or front, she just liked being carried and would often fall asleep in it :)

Strange question that's been bugging me.... With the cot bed I know there are different heights so early you can have it closer to the top then drop it down as the baby grows. But when you put it up do you have to undo everything to change the height or is there a lever??

I don't know why this has been puzzling me so much. The cot bed comes tomorrow so I could just be patient and wait but my brain won't stop!!

Lol! With mine you used an allen key to change the heights, you have to take the mattress and the base out and adjust the rails that hold the base in place :)

Finch when we put ours together the other day you can clearly see where the different levels are, but you do have to kinda take it apart to adjust, I think that's a safety reason though (I would have thought). Which reminds me, I need to find a new screw for ours as it had one screw missing, typical!

Whilst you ladies are on the subject of cots...

I've noticed that in most places they say the cots have three levels, but IKEA cots have two

Are the IKEA cots deficient or is three levels just a 'nice to have'? as I quite like one of them and obviously it's a lot cheaper than the mamas and papas equivalent!

Sometimes I wish we lived in an ultra communist country and could only buy one type of cot, one type of pram etc would cut down on all these confusing choices! :rotfl:
