Thanks Kerri just emailed one retailer who said they are going
I'm thinking of going on the Sunday, Not sure whether its best to take my son or not?! Could do with a husband/ partner crèche as I'm sure mine will soon be moaning about something! Maybe we can take our son and I can then wonder around on my own then meet them later!
Heartburn is horrid. I've had it since v early on but thankfully it's eased. It all depends on what I eat/ drink. I've been getting rennies and gaviscon. Gaviscon isn't nice but seems to work for me. XTrying to save for a deposit

KScarlet, we're going to the October one on the Sunday. K1ddisave told me in an email to ask for the man I emailed specifically at the show and he'd see what he could do in way of further discount, so definitely worth buttering them up a bit beforehand i reckon.
I have no idea how OH will cope with the baby show, I might have to ply him with lots of coffees.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

i think nesting has kicked in big style...I washed all bumps clothes weeks ago, when we built the chest of drawers for them, and they are back in the machine now...also have spent the last hour starting to clean our conservatory...2 sets of windows done, french doors half done, 4 sets of windows still to do...then there is the living room and two bedroom windows to clean as well!0

Thanks for the tip Kerri
well I asked the company what promotions they are doing, they said 20% off the blanket I want! Excellent! Then they messaged me again saying would I like a pair of complimentary tickets as they have some spare! How fab! We have to go now! I was looking at Manchester as we live in Wales so blue water is a bit far. Plus by October I'll probably be waddling! I'm hoping my DH will behaves he can be a pain in the bum shopping! X

lol, I could do with 10 weeks the state of my house..but I have, em, 3 days!!! not that I'm complaining about that, bump can't come quick enough, I just wish the cleaning bug could've come earlier! On the plus side, I have had a cooking bug, so I can't get anything more in my freezer due to all the tubs of homemade soup!0

I read today that nesting usually kicks in during the third trimester... I'm really hoping so! :rotfl: At the moment, "baby's room" is definitely still a "box room"... in the very literal sense
Tried to talk DH into getting tickets for the baby show but he's having none of it. Oh well, I'd only be tempted to spend too much / buy things we don't need anyway.
Our NCT antenatal classes start in a fortnight... when I booked them they seemed so far away and so close to baby's arrival :eek:0 -
my stretch marks have multiplied by ten overnight!! Had 3 in total and now they are up the sides of my belly button, all over my hips and loads under my bump... I swear they weren't half this bad yesterday! Been bio-oiling every day, i feel a bit cheated lol. Lord knows what my stomach might look like if i hadn't been doing it mind you.

My OH helpfully told me that creams and potions don't penetrate deep enough to stop stretch marks, thanks love!!!
I've been nesting since about 20w, I suddenly decided the house needed to stay tidy all the time and we should have a constant supply of food in the freezer...we now need a bigger freezer!Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Lol! I have to confess to barely managing the bear minimum of housework, cooking etc over the past 30 weeks as I've been lacking in energy/ motivation! I just really want to get baby's room sorted there is just stuff piled everywhere like old toys/ clothes of my sons/ DHs junk and then loads of baby bits scattered around. Hopefully I can get DH in the loft this weekend! X
I think I started nesting earlier last time but its hard finding the motivation with a demanding toddler/ work etc cannot wait until I'm on maternity leave
Hugs Tooth, all my stretch marks appeared once I went overdue last time before that I had 1 I was gutted! Think I've got new ones already but my bump is getting huge! XTrying to save for a deposit
