Welsh_cosmic - no news here! I'm still pregnant, all booked in for an induction on Tuesday, they won't induce me earlier unless its medically necessary. Which it isn't.

However I've been hugging other newborns today - I met with some nct people so I'm hoping all the oxytocins from that encourages baby out.

If you are soaking through pads in under and hour after 24 hours to are possibly having a PPH so need checking.. it should be just like a normal period by then. It is only heavy the first 24 hours or so and you shouldn't need more than single pads by this point.

I bled for 6-8 weeks after my older 8 and 1-2 after the little 3... with this last 1 I started bleeding very heavily at 3 weeks due to an infection which is just getting better with the aid of antibiotics.

Don't take jeans.. the crotch seam on episiotomy stitching is agony!

Yea I think I will just take leggings then...rather that then worry anyway. I plan on coming straight home after the 6hr check up.

Can someone PLEASE tell my 1 year old that as much as I love him and love fact he wants to give me cuddles I can't take him climbing all over my stomach... >< ><

Labour vibes to welsh and helen!

Had a lovely day yesterday sorting out the nursery, went through boxes of cutey little clothes my sister has passed on which were my nephews. Got OH to build the crib and packed baby's and my hospital bags. So at least it's all sorted even if they might sit there for up to 7 weeks!

I think one of my cats can tell, he certainly knows to not press on my bump but goes above or below with his paws when settling down for a cuddle and likes purring directly onto bump which makes baby move but doesn't bother him. The elder cat however seems to want to purposely put his paws on my bump and gets very annoyed when he gets told no, I don't think he'll be impressed when baby arrives!

Last day at work today. Hooray! Looking forward to scan/ consultant appt next week so I have a better idea of what to expect over the coming month. i.e. whether we are planning natural birth or caesarian at 38 weeks. I know plans can change but it would be nice to have a plan A and plan B if need be.

Hugs continualdiamond. Try not to worry - everyone's circumstances are different and if you think that they will be good friends when the babies are here, then the sixe of house, make of car etc really won't matter. You'll have your babies in common and that's all that matters.

Not much going on here. Really need to sort out the last bits. Still waiting for hubby to get up in the loft and see what neutral newborn clothes we have, and to get the baby Lamaze toys and stuff out. Hoping he'll do that in the next few days.

Met up with a couple of friends today which was nice, but lucky them were child free as their LOs have just started school. I had my DD with me and they said she was very well behaved. She was, fortunately, but she isn't always like that!

Hello everyone. Not posted for a while, have been mad busy. Hope everyone is ok.

I'm 27 weeks now, 8 weeks left in work and counting.

Still so much to do in the house to prepare for the baby , which us easier said than done with a toddler in tow!

Have had to take my engagement and wedding rings off fingers are all swollen! Had a bit of a struggle getting them off so am now afraid to put them back on incase they get stuck...
