Congratulations on all the recent births. I don't get a chance to post very often as work access can be tricky, so I tend to read along on my phone. Insomnia has definitely hit with a vengeance. I was awake at 2, 4 and 6 this morning and couldn't drift off easily between those times. The culprits this time were general discomfort, heartburn and cramp. Ah well. Only 19 days left at work!

:rotfl: Thank you!!!! I'm glad it's not just me. I've told my mum and family not to get one for me and they seem to think I'm potty. My mum said 'but baby needs something to look at to self soothe' .. I know that but I also know myself and I'll be checking him 50 times a night as it is! I do it with my OH, if I wake and he seems too still I have to check he is breathing and he's 31!!!

I've gone with a Ewan too. Was about to order on Amazon and then got a text from my brother saying they were in John Lewis buying Ewan so not to bother! Bonus! :T I probably need something more but we'll see when he gets here.

Courgette :T Awesome news. I love that you have picked such an unusual name too! My mum is obsessed with Linda and wanted her to deliver my baby as I work close to that hospital but I don't live there so it won't be happening! Well done you and huge congrats on baby!

AFM - it's mine and my OH's 12 year anniversary today and he's at work claiming triple time which is a bonus! So I think I may clean the rooms I can clean and hope we can go out for a Thai meal tonight as I am really really craving it!

Tomorrow I go to work and ask to bring maternity forward so if there are no probs I'll be finishing Friday

Keep meaning to say congrats Helen on the engagement too! Took me way too long to say that but I forget things so often!!

When did/are you planning on writing your birth plan? Not sure how far along I should be before I sit down and write it out.

Lozza - I'm 21+4 and know mine: as natural as possible, relaxation techniques, OH as birth partner, local birthing centre, medical intervention if either mother or baby in distress only, no drugs but maybe G&A although I know it makes me feel very sick and out of it, stay at home as long as possible.
