Awww MV - congrats! Now that's a birth I wouldn't mind...although I don't fancy the panic of not being able to get the car parked!

So pleased for you..gosh the babies are coming thick and fast just now! And all girls! : )

Big thanks for all the replies regarding maternity leave. On one hand I'm regretting leaving it so late (my mat leave is actually my due date which I brought forward by using annual leave) on another I'm thinking I must push on to save time with baby after he is born.

My OH asked the other day what the norm is as I think he wants me to finish up soon and I wasn't really sure hence the question.

Everyday I just feel like it's such a chore to push myself to work as I am still dealing with sickness and dizziness (see MW tomorrow so I can finally mention it). My colleague (who's acting manager at moment) said today that productivity in the team would go up once I left as I spend 2 hrs every morning moaning about my train journey. That happened on one day (for 10 mins!) because train was delayed for an hour and I was explaining to work friends why I was so late. Funny he hears that but not anything to do with me feeling poorly.
He's also indicated I do less than I should while other people (my old manager included) say really positive things about my work. (I should say it's not just me he says this to).

To be honest I'm really insulted and totally questioning myself at work. It's been going on a while but I don't like telling people as I feel like it looks as if I am rubbish at what I do.

So all this makes me wonder why I push on other than for the sake of more time with baby but as I'm at risk of redundancy chances are I won't be back in a year anyway (I'd take VR to have longer with baby).

That just sounds like a massive moan but I feel if I don't write it out I'm going to end up really upsetting myself. My job annoys me but I do care about my performance - massively!

Think I'm just fed up really..I never realised carrying a baby was so tiring at this stage and to push myself and only get criticised just really gets me.

    Sorry girls !

Just posted on the other thread as I'm not quite 'big' enough for here yet. In short, not great.

Hope you are doing okay though, I bet things feel like they are moving quickly for you now!

Clare - What a bonny little thing. I also like her name, its lovely. Still secretly pleased no-one has used our name yet though ;)

I've just read your post on the 12-24 weeks thread lily. Of course you can post here! It's the pregnancy thread and you're pregnant! :D

I'm sorry to hear you're finding things hard. I think it's important you speak to the consultant and come to a decision that is best for you. When is your next scan? Fingers crossed that your little baby is growing steadily. It's great news about your DH. How fab of Royal Mail!

I always like to keep up to date with how you are doing, especially as I owe it to you and the information you gave me that I'm here today. I can't believe I'm 26 weeks tomorrow...it's going very quickly.

Got to spend a few hours at hospital tomorrow for glucose test. Better get the e-reader charged up!
