I imagine it probably depends on how box ticky a person is and how they interpret the guidelines. You're supposed to get a consultant referral for BMI of 18 or under and my first MW referred me at 18.3 because if you rounded it then it was 18 but current MW has referred me with 18.7 which by my reckoning rounds to 19 but she's definitely more of a box ticker than my previous MW.

MV - what a birth story! Pleased OH made it in time and yay for only G&A! Hope the next few days go smoothyl for you. Remember the crazy hormones kick in around 3 days, so expect to have lots of tears - completely normal! And don't worry about the formula.

I feel fat and bloated and my bras are getting too small again. Bah. Moan, moan, moan. And heartburn is making a return and I have no Gaviscon in and hubby is at work so can't send him out either. Oh well. New sereies of The Midwife is on BBC2 at 9pm if anyone is interested.

My bmi was 32ish... They had it recorded wrong as 36 initially but even after correcting it they didn't discharge me, they seem to have just kept me on the books anyway. (35 is the border).

MV I remember the shock of the pain at breastfeeding number two, I breast fed number one for 16 months, exclusively for the first 6 - so was shocked at how painful it initially was.

It did settle though and I did carry on feeding past a year - but if you want to go for formula don't feel bad. I wanted to as well, but didn't, but then I am very tight. :rotfl:

My DH works away so I think he is grateful he misses me moaning and groaning at night! I do wish he was home though

Lots of people have commented on my bump which is odd as I got to 38/39 weeks last time without people even realising I was pregnant as my stomach didn't really pop out at all. I don't feel like bump is any bigger but I feel like my sides are very stretched and I can't do up any pairs of trousers!!! They all fit fine last week!
