Congrats Baleb! Having a flurry of girls on these last few arrivals!
Anyone have any advice on buying the first travel system? We thought we'd decided on two, but neither of those can have another seat added for a second child. I live in London so I'm looking to have it as compact as possible with getting on and off buses/tubes etc. now we are wondering whether to go for the bigger model (which is also more expensive!) to add on the next seat should we need it for a second. Or would a sling for a new baby be a better idea along side a pushchair? Getting way ahead of ourselves here but would still like to knowfellow mums opinions as this is our first!
So pros of the one child only = more compact for busy transport in London but cons are is it a false economy if you plan to have another fairly soon after?0 -

Lobey - My advice would be to buy a single if space is really important. Conceiving no.2 may not be as easy as you imagine and if thats the case, you've wasted money buying a larger system that may not get used. By 18 months a lot of children only want to use a buggyboard and by 2 they can walk everywhere. Unless you're going on countryside trecks quite regularly It's probably not worth investing in a double.

I have my GTT test on Wednesday. I think we get lucozade here lol
I had lucozade as well, a big coca-cola cup of it to drink in 10 mins. I wasn't allowed to eat or drink (except water) from about 8 ish the night before.
It was alright, I don't choose to drink lucozade but it's not a taste I hate. Ginger biscuits sound weird, I lived on those for the first 3 mths to keep my morning sickness away. I'd wake up and have to eat 2 biscuits before getting ready for work, a packet lived on my bedside table, lol.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

She honestly has been useless - I asked about my birth plan - she said "oh we don't need to do that - you've done it before" yes I have 7 and a half years ago and I was induced!! I don't even really know how to recognise labour having never done it by myself!
She doesn't want to see me again - just cheerfully waved me on my way with "bye bye sweetheart, off you go and have a baby". Not really sure what to do now!!0
