    Morning ladies,

I've finally decided to come out of hiding and say hello!! I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my 3rd surprise X

Hi butterfly lady, congratulations! I'm sorry you're going through a hard time at the moment. I really hope things work out well for you. When are you due? I'm a few days off 26 weeks :D

  • hmmm..well update from me..having been feeling a bit off earlier, I am now getting pains quite low down in my groin coming on and off. Feels a bit like when you are going to have a bit of a..shall we say..interesting toilet time, but then they go again, so I actually am wondering if this could be the early stages.

Phoned the labour ward to get some advice, and wish I hadn't bothered! Spoke to a useless MW who wanted to rush me off the phone as quickly as possible. She asked if I had felt baby moving, and I said honestly I wasn't sure as most of my movement happens at night, and she then said I needed to come in to the maternity assessment unit to have it monitored!

I really don't think I need to at all, and actually the thought of walking all the way to the bus stop, waiting for a bus and a long walk uphill is NOT doing it for me.

Just had a bath and could see baby moving, so think I'm going to disregard that advice.

Have put in laws on standby as they have a long drive down to London, part of me doesn't want them here yet though as they'll just get under my feet, but then again if they are here then they can pick DS up from nursery and look after him etc..

    Auugh..decisions decisions.

nb - pains starting to feel more like period cramps now..I recognise those. Could be kicking off, but I guess it could lead to nothing.

Courgette - hope you don't have to wait too long xx

  • Just had a bit of 'show' so think this is it.

OH on way home and think we'll ring the labour ward when he gets here as pains seem to be around 5-6 mins apart at the moment.

    Yikes!
