Butterflylady - welcome! Hope things work out well whichever way they go.

Can't believe I'm number 8 on the list! I was in the 20s for ages but have dropped suddenly...
  • Thanks for all of the good wishes, I think it's the thought of a newborn + the other 2, whole trying to deal with 2 NRP, neither of whom are particular supportive or organised!! Dreading the thought of having to try and organise contact for the baby 😓

On a more positive note do any of u have any recommendations for hypo birthing cd's?

Ooooh stop posting the list! I'm number 9... For ages I was at number 19, so I'm not sure how that has happened.

I'm so bored but so uncomfortable, baby wriggles like mad still and my cervix and ribs have taken a real beating. It's not nice at all.

However today is the start of my new bathroom! I'm just waiting on the electrician to come and "lay cables", then I have so much washing and sorting to do, including all the baby clothes which I haven't got the energy to wash. OH is adamant it needs doing though, so I might just leave it all to him.

Despite all of the above I'm hoping baby is late, I've got loads to do and a new bathroom to see finished. Oh and a surprise weekend away next weekend (we escape the Reading Festival as its causes my stress levels to rise too high ;)).

I LOVE the nursery pictures!! Ours isn't finished as we don't know the sex, so it's all boring until we get some decor... Stickers are number one, I have a laptop of links to different options depending on team blue or pink.

Claree - Congratulations! Enjoy the first few days with your new bundle.

Thanks everyone! I feel a million times better today, absolutely knackered as Eil!s decided that if she couldn't sleep with mummy she wasn't going to sleep, which obviously I couldn't do! She's like butter wouldn't melt this morning mind you. I'll post pics when we get home, uploading on my phone isn't working very well - she was 8lb 4.5oz, just for list purposes :)

Congrats Claree and Gizmodo, no sign of baby making an appearance, I think this child is taking after its father, will only do things in his own time and no amount of rushing is going to have any impact.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks getting the house ready for the baby and now I have run out if things to do so finding it tough being home alone all day!
  • Labour vibes to you lao. Make the most of the quiet time before baby comes though as you'll be busy enough very soon!

AFM - had an upset stomach this morning (sorry tmi). Now I recall quite clearly that I had something similar when things started happening with DS, so am wondering if it could be an early labour sign?

We did have a big fahita blow-out last night though, so lots of beans and spicy food etc, so it could just be that! Stomach feeling very sore this morning though.

Congratulations Claree! Hope you can get home soon.

No news here other than DH has gone back to work - booooooo! Toddler is at nursery today so I'm able just to rest up but I'm home alone with him tomorrow and I think it's gonna be tough going.

No sign at all of giving birth any time soon. We went on a massive walk on Saturday (well, by my standards anyway :rotfl:) and I spent most of yesterday in bed recovering. I think he's moved down a bit more but not sure he's engaged still. In all honestly I think I'm in for the long haul again. I don't mind really, it's just the way I cook them but I'm really not looking forward to being pressured into induction again.

Looking forward to baleb's update, hope she had an easy time of it
    Updating soon...
