We have gone with the Lollipop Lane Tiddly Wink Safari theme - well PIL have brought the cot set - we have daffodil white (light yellow/lemon) walls, cream wardrobes & i now have to buy some curtains - looking at yellow gingam fabric as part of the lollipop lane quilt has yellow gingam & everywhere i have looked doesn't do plain yellow curtains & definately not in the size for the window (2m wide x 1m high)
Feeling extremely tired today - last night didn't get my nap when i got home - then had to bake a cake (i've baked the lemon curd & raspberry cake :-) not tried it yet though) finished everything at 10pm but wanted to listen to my natal hypnotherapy CD - which i promptly feel asleep to! Overslept this morning & keep nearly nodding off at my desk - not going to get my nap after work today either - i reckon i will be dead on my feet tomoro!
Luckily this is the last 5 day working week for me before maternity leave! Next week is a 4 day week, then i have a 2.5 day week, then a 4 day week, then no more work for at least 42 weeks!
Good luck to all you boldies!

Daft question but please how do I upload a photo? I'm guessing I upload to photo bucket but do I just post a link here? X
I think you upload it to photo bucket or another online storage site & when you go to write a post - go advanced then press the button that looks like a mountain with a sun
You will need to copy the web address of the photo you want to post & put it in when prompted

Happy due date and good luck to all the boldies (and the potential queue jumpers!)
Very odd to think this is my last full day in the house on my own before induction tomorrow (to go in at 2pm) so I really need to get everything sorted. Like, everything :rotfl:
Still arguing with Tesco about my moses basket. I really don't care about the hood anymore, they're just being thoroughly useless, all they need to do is send out a wee screw thingy! Complained to the bank this morning as well about a cheque not being in 'till 3 days after I deposited it, not sure why I bothered 'cause if they call me back over the next few days I probably won't give two hoots about the bank!
Does anyone know, with this being my first and an induction, if everything goes okay - how long am I expecting to be in the hospital? I have a funny feeling my BP isn't cooperating again though so it won't be as simple as I think.
The fact I could have my baby tomorrow terrifies me somewhat. My Debt Free Diary

Asda baby event mailing came in the post today - starts 26th August. Pretty much the usual stuff in it - time to resume baby wipe stockpiling as we go through tonnes of 'em and buy in serious bulk when they're reduced in large boxes.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Question to all the C-section ladies - I've heard you can ask for the screen to be lowered when they pull out the baby so you can see it being born. Would you? Should I? I'm not particularly squeamish (once had to watch a hip operation as part of a job I was doing) but then again if it's me they're cutting in to maybe I'll feel differently!
Wouldn't allow it at my last hospital and don't allow it at this one. Tbh I don't know of anyone who has been able to do that? Body going into shock, people fainting ect at the sight of it all....major surgery has enough issues without adding to them. Plus, when you're lying flat on your back It would be quite hard to actually see anything anyway. My bed was tipped at quite an angle when they delivered DS.
Worth asking about when you get into theatre if it's something you particularly want to see though
Lovely neat bump MV. Not long to go now!
