My new painkillers say they might make me sleepy, bring it on I say! having a couple of relaxing days in the house before my appointment on Friday 'cause God knows what will happen then, it's never simple!

So I've had dull achy lower back pain for a few days now along with a slightly dodgy tum. Today the back pain is worse and feels like it's down the back of my legs which is very weird. Don't know if these are signs that something's happening... This waiting game is a bit frustrating at times!

yumyums I had what felt like constipation and dull achy back cramps when I went into early labour with DS, so it could be things starting to kick off for you..good luck! Try and stay as mobile as possible and on your feet. Alternatively a nice warm bath will help with the pains, but I did find this also slowed things down a bit.

I'm due the day after you, and nothing happening here.

Still not much happening here, looks like I will be having the sweep this afternoon after all :-(

Getting so many calls and texts now asking where baby is, it's making me feel like its my fault she's not here yet

Hopefully not too much longer to wait. Those on their second or third, do u think I will get an induction date today at my appointment?

I'm really worried about going too far overdue because they think she's big even though I haven't had any growth scans or anything. I might ask if I can be induced earlier than 2 weeks over if nothing happens

Hope everyone else is well and nutshell is getting on ok

Morning all welcome vic

Been having lots of lower back pain and Braxton hicks and my tummy is a bit dodgy too felt really sick this morning was up with DS2 at 4 this morning and only managed to doze back off for about an hour so feeling pretty tired.

OH has decided because I've won a new TV we are now going to decorate before baby comes so he can move the TV, but to do this he wants to take out the fire (never gets used) he wanted a new carpet (changed his mind about this now) but he now wants a new settee, all because we are getting a new tv lol men make me laugh ha at least it will keep him occupied for a while because he gets easily bored we tend to waste lots of money I'd rather him spend it on the house than waste it, as long as the decorating is done within the next couple of weeks ill be happy.

Right best get moving, gonna go to my mums we can sit in the garden with a cuppa while the kids run round.

Baleb - I went overdue 14 days with DS2 they booked my date for induction when I had one of my sweeps (I had 3 in total) try not to worry baby will soon be here, I do understand how horrible it is to be late I'm sure people mean well asking for baby news, I think I prefer people to be interested what's happening than no one to even ask and seem like they're not bothered if you know what i mean, although there is a fine line between the 2 take care xx

I have to hand in my maternity leave forms this week. Just wondering how long to leave starting my maternity leave. I work in a school and thought about starting it on the first Monday back after October half term. This would see that I finish 3 1/2 weeks before my due date. Is this enough/ too soon? Opinions appreciated please.
