Hi Cheryl - welcome
I've got a massive age gap between number 1 & 2 too but it's a bit like riding a bike I think, everything comes back.
Re the name, at 27 weeks you've got loads of time so I wouldn't worry too much just yet. We have a very likely name for our chap but DH's parents have made it very clear that they absolutely hate it. Mostly I just think stuff them he's our child but I do have moments when I wonder if it's fair on him.
Re the school issue, I hope I haven't offended anyone. I know lots of people have been the youngest in the year and have been absolutely fine. For me personally though I think there's a lot more to childhood and learning than formal school and I think the ability to read and write from a very young age doesn't really have any impact on their future achievement. It's just my personal opinion though and something that does concern me but doesn't mean it should concern anyone else!
Been to Ikea today - completely wiped out now. Can't stop eating either! Not feeling in any way birthy today like I was yesterday so think it probably was just my body relaxing

Just scrubbed the cot frame down with star drops (love that stuff!) and it's taken me a good hour, there seemed to be dried milk splatter absolutely everywhere. Honestly don't know how it's gotten into every nook and cranny. If there's that much dried milk all over the frame makes you realise why they say get a new mattress for a new baby!0

My main concern would be even as one of the oldest in the year I always looked much younger and was probably about 2 years behind in terms of physical development/puberty (probably as I've always been quite petite). So if I were to have an August baby take after me he/she would be almost another year further behind. I think I have read academically August babies do catch up once they get to high school, but I agree it just seems too young for a little one to be sat in a classroom all day. Then again I think reception are pretty relaxed, the proper learning seems to start on year 1.0 -
Not had chance to catch up on everyone's posts here as I've had a bit of an eventful day. Finished work on friday. Was really tired yesterday afternoon so had a nap then went to the pub in the evening.
Anyway it look like I am going to be a queue jumper as at 2am my waters broke. Had some pain this morning which has now gone. Since 1pm I have now been leaking waters. I have an appointment to be induced at 8am tomorrow morning. Off for a walk now to try and get labour started naturally.
Good luck to anyone who goes in over the next few days. Congratulations to Girlzmum and Oscar (don't know if i've missed your latest post).

Awful headache and nauseagot told off by DH for doing too much, oops! Got all the clothes we have so far washed and dried though, they look so cute hanging on the washing line

Hiya ladies havent posted in a while but wanted to get a general opinion before running to my midwife, im 33+4 and have been getting really sharp pains in my lady parts (sorry for overshare) they last anywhere between a second and about 30 seconds before stopping and i have been getting them 3-4 times a day only for the past 3 days, first pregnancy so not sure if this is just a completely normal side effect of late pregnancy or whether i should be phoning the midwife, any advice would be great thanks xStarted comping again....Oct wins already!:£250 philosophy goody bag, £50 itunes voucher, £30 amazon voucher.....why did i ever stop!0
