Sorry to hear things aren't great at the minute MV. I agree could you take it in shifts so to speak, that is what OH and I do when DS is ill (providing he isn't working) that way we both manage to get a couple of hours sleep.
Still not great, but better than nothing!
I know what you mean about people getting under your feet. MIL really wants to come and help me sort the spare room out, and whilst I appreciate she is just being nice and wanting to help, I would much rather just get on with it myself.
I'm glad it's not just me!
She means well, and she is very kind, but she's a bit full on and we don't even have a house so I can escape from time to time. She just seems to be under my feet all the time, and OH's dad spends half the time smoking his yucky cigar's out in the garden/front of the house and stinking the place out.

Yeah, I'm feeling absolutely worn out too. It's very different being heavily pg with a toddler to look after than when you're expecting your first!
DH has just started 2 weeks off work so I think really my feeling different and a bit weird is just my body starting to relax. And as daft as this sounds I'm quite happy to hang on to September 1st. I know it shouldn't matter but the teacher in me would really prefer him to be the eldest in the year rather than the youngest. As I said, I know it shouldn't matter but it does worry me. My friend's baby was born last September and he's walking now whereas mine isn't even born...
Hope your night is restfulUpdating soon...0 -
Yes I'm a bit concerned about baby being born right at the end of August too, but I guess what will be, will be.
Thanks..and restful nights all round to everyone else too xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
My due date is 1st September and I am desperate for this madam to hold on til then. I teach as well and did the "put your hand up if you were an August baby" with all 10 of my classes and I was rarely surprised by the results!!
On the other hand I know I should be grateful to have a healthy and happy baby whenever she decides to appear!! Plus, a year's less childcare costs if she comes in August!!0 -
hope you little un gets better soon MV, glad OH is being helpful
starting to feel like I'll miss being pregnant despite how pants I feel at times. It's like another era of my life is drawing to a close. Never mind 9 weeks to go and enjoy my sleep and child free life!0 -
Grrr can't sleep! Seem to wake up at this time every night now.
Is it true that you can defer entry to school until the term after your child's 5th birthday?0 -
Got my MA letter on Saturday saying that I'll only get £27!!! not the Full £136.78
So I have been fretting all weekend about it. Luckily I just have to write a letter stating for them to reconsider my payments or something and that should set off the full amount. Still fretting but not as much though which is niceWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

Hope you manage to get it sorted quickly!
How long did it take for you to hear back? I sent my stuff off on Friday and I know im going to be on edge til I get something back. I am going on maternity leave as soon as I can at 29 weeks so am really anxious for it all to be sorted ASAP. I know I wont get the full amount but am expecting around £65 a week.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I think I sent it off 23rd. Maybe 24th. But that's pretty quick as sometimes it takes up to 4 weeks to sort. so you'll probably hear something next week.
I've written my letter but I've got no bloody envelopes. Or stamps. Why can't I do it via email? That would be so much easier! What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Hey everyone!
So I'm officially overdue. Come on baby!
Had a bit of an upset stomach this morning so hoping that's a good sign but I don't know
Really getting fed up with all the 'have you had the baby yet?' Texts and calls. I know it's just because people are excited but it's so so annoying!
Had a bit of a breakdown last night to hubby cos some of his family are going on holiday Wednesday and something was said along the lines of 'I hope you've had the baby by then' and it just really upset me cos a part of me felt like it is my fault she's not here yet and everyone is waiting for me if you see what I mean. Oh, and then I got upset because all of the babies from my nct class have been born now except mine, even though I had the latest due date!
Stupid I know, crazy hormonal pregnant woman is in the house at the moment!
Hope alls well
Baleb
