Izzy/Isabelle was my first choice when pregnant last time, before finding out it would be a boy, but somehow it doesn't feel right this time aound.
Grayson is nice, can be Gray for short.
Telling hubby he could shorten it to Gray was the way I talked him round!
We liked also liked carter and hunter for a boy but know people who've recently used those names.
I quite liked Elle for a girl but hubby had his heart set on izzy.0 -
Evening all.
Had to come on and share this photo with you all:
We had our 4D scan tonight that hubby had booked as a surprise to try and cheer me up a bit due to being so far away from my parents & sister.
I did everything that was suggested, walking around outside and eating some chocolate and fizzy pop 20 mins before our appointment to get baby moving and it worked :j
Granted our appointment was late as other people had baby's that weren't in a good position so they were sent back out to walk around and then went back in. So in the end our appt was 45 mins late and we'd arrived early because we had no idea where we were going and what traffic would be like.
But the lady at reception was fab, she gave us extra copies of photos and instead of a 5 min dvd we got a 10 min one.
Was an amazing experience, couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Baby had its arm under its chin and then suddenly a leg comes up right to its face. Now I know when I feel a big movement and go 'woah' it's more than likely lifting its leg up high like it did on the scan.
We asked to know the sex even know we were told the sex at 20 weeks because we wanted to see if we got the same answer and we did. So can now enjoy gender shopping as been neutral shopping incase at 20 weeks they got it wrong, but more relaxed now that 2 people have said the same gender and it looked a lot more obvious at this scan than the 20 week one.
On a high now though, lol. I'm usually fast asleep at this time, thank goodness for school holidays...Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

Can I ask you ladies what you think of these names please
1. Ella
2. Charlotte (Lottie for short)
I prefer Ella but OH prefers Charlotte.
Which would you choose if you had to choose one? (the other one will prob be the middle name)
These are our top two too!!
I want Charlotte and OH wants Ella (short for helen after my grandma).
Great choicesIf you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -

Good luck and lots of love girlzmum!!!! :j if we were having a girl I wanted fleur but we aren't so that's out! !! I've gone with quite an unusual name for our boy (unless we get bored of it before he gets here). I also liked benjy but didn't want it to be shortened to Ben. George is my nephews name so pretty bored of that now. .. it's funny when my sister chose it 15yrs ago everyone poured scorn. .. now its all the rage! The name I'm pretty set on is quite old but not fashionably so! !! At all! !!0

Morning all. Great scan picture cd! Sort of wish I'd have had one now, however not long to go to see her I suppose.
Could someone please explain isofix to me? I felt like the worlds worst mother to be when it came up in conversation with a friend last week. "Have you got your isofix?" "My what?". I've got a silver cross car seat being delivered... if we get an isofix base will it only fit this car seat or will it last to bigger size we will probably have to buy a few months down the line?
Birthday tomorrow, wanted a spa day but they're so expensive. Actually just really want a pedicure as can't reach anymore!! Hopefully going to treat myself.
As for baby names- I wanted Alice but DH says no. So I'm trying to convince him that he likes Alexa instead.

Good luck Girlzmum!
IHateDida – The mobile looks good and the price on amazon is cheap so its in my basket!
Littleskintdragon – I had a baby name book on my kindle while on holiday, started writing some down and the same as you the majority are welsh name!?! but the list also contains some out there names… So he may settle for the welsh ones!
Continualdiamond – Love the photo!
NoAngel – ISOfix means how you attach in the car. Check the car handbook it will tell you if you have ISOfix fixings in your car. They are just metal loops that are between the seat and the upright that you attach the base to. We have the seat belt attachment for our base, even though I have the ISOfix in my car, if we need to use in the OH’s Van, there are no fixings. Google the base you have and it should tell you what seats fit it. Happy birthday for tomorrow! I was away for mine, but a bit upset only 2 posts on Facebook!!! My phone didn’t work, but got 3 texts when I got home!!!
Had a lovely week in Italy last week at a wedding and I even made to the top of Mount Vesuvius!
I now seem to have the washing machine on all the time, clothes from holiday, stripped all the beds and anything else that can go in the washing machine!
I have a quiet week, everyone gone to Scout camp! Another holiday for me! But I have a really long list of stuff to do… nothing to with the baby, house stuff as just moved!!! But is nice not having to worry about anyone else except me and bean this week and I get the bed to myself!
Bean enjoyed their Babymoon, but being a right pain this week finding it uncomfortable to sit for any amount of time!
Went down to see my mum last night, as unable to get her on the phone! She bought down a wrapped basket full of baby stuff and give me money for the travel system, which will be delivered tomorrow!!! The basket was full of stuff clothes, grooming set, lotions and creams, nappies, cardy’s, a shawl and loads more! My gran has also been knitting made cardys, is going to knit me a gro bag and is going to knit me a grobag!! Felt very over whemled, think it finally kicked in that there is a baby on the way!0 -
NoAngel - isofix is the bit you fit into your car to drop your car seat onto. Not all cars come with the required fittings, although most modernish cars do.
The isofix basically makes it easier to fit a car seat, and means you don't have to faff about with seatbelts to hold it in place. It also electronically 'beeps' when fitted correctly so you can be sure it's secure. We have one we used for DS and are still using now with his bigger car seat, and OH bought another one last week that will be fitted alongside for the new baby and her car seat.
The only downside is it limits how many other people you can get into your car as it is a permanent fixture.
Bleughh feeling crap today. Had a really broken night as DS was up and yelling at 3am. He calmed down if OH or I went in and sat with him, but kicked off loudly as soon as we tried to leave the room. Hence 2 grumpy adults this morning
I'm so tired anyway, and sleeping is not comfortable..not sure what to do with DS today to keep him occupied. Can't face the park or too much walking. He's watching CBEEBIES at the moment which I feel bad about, but at this stage of pregnancy I'm trying not to beat myself up too much about it.
On names - we are down to Charlotte as well, and Lola. I really like Lola, but am fed up of people going on about the Kinks and Barry Manilow songs! Honestly as if my daughters peers will even know those songs in 10+ years time!
36 weeks today.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
