Can I ask you ladies what you think of these names please
    1. Ella
    2. Charlotte (Lottie for short)

I prefer Ella but OH prefers Charlotte.

Which would you choose if you had to choose one? (the other one will prob be the middle name)

I prefer Ella, would've been one of our top names had we been having a girl :) I think it's lovely!
  • I like Ella personally, but know a baby about a month old called charlotte which is cute as the the only other charlotte i knew is my age.

There are probably a lot more ellas though at the moment so id say charlotte would be more rare?
Still here..... but working on that!

We have Izzy for a girl and Grayson for a boy.
Izzy was our girls name from when I was pregnant with ds, a boys name has been so hard this time. I wanted Grayson all along but have had to talk hubby round

I am so relieved that Kate and William have gone for George! I was sure they would use James which is our name for Wriggler, we always said our first boy would be named after FIL. I just couldn't settle on a girls name at all, I was wanting an Irish name beginning with C and couldn't find one I liked although I was leaning towards Cara.

Girls are away to in laws now, its very emotional to think the next time I see them Wriggler will be here. I don't think I'm going to get much sleeping done tonight! I'm having a serious amount of pressure 'downstairs', need to pee all the time.

Thanks for all the good wishes - I'll see you all on the other side!

    *good luck Girlzmum*

I think all the name choices so far are lovely.

I think the only name we can agree on for baby is Jack! this could change tho...

I resorted to peeing in a jug for samples and pregnancy tests.

I'm starting on my iron tablets today after being argued round to it at work. I hope it will help with the shortness of breath, tiredness and swollen ankles without constipation!!! 29+5

Izzy/Isabelle was my first choice when pregnant last time, before finding out it would be a boy, but somehow it doesn't feel right this time aound.
Grayson is nice, can be Gray for short.

That's my only reservation with Ella, as I've never been one to follow the herd. Shame as I've liked the name since I was a teenager but it's only become really popular in the last few years.
