Hello everyone do you mind if I join in?

I am currently 26+6 and it has suddenly really hit home that I will be having a baby! It's our first baby and we're very excited Due end of Oct.

We are also moving house when I will be approximately 34 weeks pregnant which is starting to stress me out a bit, but I am trying to just get organised and ignore the stressed out feeling!

I just pee all over my fingers and be done with it when it comes to the wee-tubes.

I can't see anything below my belly (lady-garden maintenance is all guesswork now), so I just aim the best I can and wash my hands.

AngelMommy - I have 2 girls as well, eldest is 10 and youngest is 7, my sister has girls, the only boy in the family lives in Australia so I have no experience with boys at all and I'm terrified! All I know is that everything needs to point downwards (and if things start to point up during a nappy change cover it quickly!!!)

I'm trying to get myself ready, bag is packed, girls are going to in laws this evening and I have to be at the hospital at 8 in the morning! It's all getting very real and I'm getting very freaked out. I never thought I'd actually pray for a 'favourable cervix'!

I've just had BIL round to do a bump shoot, I figured last pregnancy so I might as well just go for it. Hope he's got some good pics of me and girls. He'll be back as soon as I get out of hospital to get newborn pics of Wriggler.

So tonight, I'll try to get back on later on to say bye before I go. I hope everyone ahead of me on the list goes very soon xx

Hi guys - just wanted to pop by and let you know of a superb but very very simple toy that will amuse your newborns! It allowed me to have a leisurely bath this morning (baby was in moses basket on bathroom floor just gazing and gurgling at it for the whole time!).

I have only just bought it - but wish I'd got it as soon as she was born - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wimmer-Ferguson-Infant-Stim-Mobile-To-Go/dp/B008ZB5E2K/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top - seriously GET ONE! (before Amazon starts charging for p&p)

So far I have clipped it to the moses basket, pram and car seat - baby absolutely loves it! Let me know if you do buy it and what you think - I couldn't believe just how cheap and tacky it looks - but also how much baby is fascinated by it! I just had to tell you all about it!!!!!

Hope everyone is surviving in this hot sticky weather. Hope baby comes son Oscar the Pug!

Oh !!!!!!, ive messed up my maternity leave start date, has anyone had to amend theirs?
Ive read u need to give 28 days notice, and manager is away until next mon which will be the 28th day as i'm taking annual leave before then!
Now i'm panicing that ill forget monday, so ive put three reminders on my phone and that they'll have me working extra days....
