Morning all.
I had the fasting from 8pm-bloods-lucozade-bloods GTT as well, all for a negative result! I realise that's a good thing but it felt bloody pointless at the time.
Probably a silly question but when should I be concerned about a headache? From about 6pm last night I've had one (never normally get them) and it doesn't seem to have disappeared yet. Keeping in mind I was in yesterday and got the all clear about BP and protein levels I think I might just be being a drama queen - but after last week they've got me all paranoid about headaches!
Honestly, I just want this baby now. I'm bored of appointments :rotfl:

Is it possible that you are dehydrated or tired? I get headaches when i have not drunk enough & when im tired!
I've got myself a little worried about the last couple of days - Monday i was sick - not sure why & last night i had pain near my ribs & was sick again - at first i thought i was having a gallstone attack but it wasn't in the same place as previously - but maybe it could be because all my organs (including gallbladder) have moved up? Dr google has not calmed me :-(
Going to mention it at MW appointment tomorrow - getting my results of GTT aswell - mine was fast from 10pm - bloods at 9am - drink icky water (defo not lucozade) - wait 2 hours & then bloods again!
Question: what does everyone do RE: peeing in the tiny pot they give you? how do you do it without getting pee all over the bottle & hands?:rotfl:
Only 27 working days left to work

I despise those wee things, especially since I now can't see them! I settle for a do my best and wash my hands 4 times afterwards :rotfl:
Good luck with your GTT results.
Drank a couple of pints of water after headache came on last night but they didn't seem to shift it. Was hoping for some paracetamol but I'm staying at my mums at the moment (she's on holiday) and they seem to have every bloody thing but paracetamol and it was too late to add it to my Tesco order. It's a lot better this morning than it was last night so I'll see how I go with it, no changes in vision or pains in my bump so I'll watch out for that before bothering anyone. My Debt Free Diary

Claree & nessie, i have the same problem with the pee pots!! Lol. U could use a jug? Preferably not one u use for cooking! I just guess, its impossible to see anywhere near there now anyway!!
Have a bad back today and some low down pressure which is probably baby shifting around but very painful none the less and hopefully will disappear asap!!

You'd think after all the POAS most of us did before getting pregnant we would be pretty good at aiming by now lol! 28 week midwife appt today so i've just had to do one. Came in early to book my whooping cough vaccine, receptionist at my docs is sooo rude and blunt. Got tutted at when i couldnt do the first appointment i was offered then just grunted and shoved the appointment card across the desk at me when i asked for a different day... Tralalala happy thoughts lol!

Morning all. I'm now officially a boldie
Still feeling fed up and biting back sarcastic replies to people asking if the baby's arrived yet. I felt totally bombarded with calls/texts/FB messages the past few days - I'm sure people don't mean to pressurise but it isn't helping me stay calm and relaxed.

Morning all. Feeling quite miserable today - stinking headache which doesn't shift even with co-codamol (prescribed by Dr for pelvic pain) and feeling sick. I have had regular pains for 12 hours but not getting any worse, a bit of back ache and 3 lots of show in the last 12 hours (though not bloody). I am really hoping that something is happening and my body is gearing up - I will be so fed up if I am still here in 3 weeks time!
Hope everyone's well

ETA - ask your midwife /clinic for some of the cardboard sample receptables... made of the same stuff as disposable bedpans but about 4" long and a diamond shape. Much easier than peeing over your fingers trying to get aim for the sample bottles! [no one tells you about all these wee pieces of indignity beforehand do they!?]Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

I've started using a funnel now that I can no longer see where I'm aiming!0

I have the exact same problem! And now, because baby sits on my bladder a lot I can only produce a dribble at a time so i can't guess or I will run out hahaha!
I just always make sure I do the wee at home in my jug before appointments. How embarrassing would it be to take a jug to the docs with you?! Lol
Got my 38 week appointment today, hoping she says baby has engaged more she's been 2/5 engaged for the last 4 weeks
Hope everyone's well

Oscar I'd try to ignore the messages rather than reply at this point, maybe just a cheery facebook update saying "No baby yet.." or something to get people off your back - I'm sure they mean well but I'm getting annoyed with "How're you keeping?" at the moment so god knows how irritated I'll be by that point!
Kandfs mam that sucksHope the headache lifts soon and/or something happens for you! Mine has gone a bit this morning which I'm grateful for, just hoping it stays away.
Good luck at your appointment Baleb!
I decided to order some sanitary towels from Tesco instead of liners but the pearls of online shopping mean I appear to have bought maxi ones - I think I'd be less conspicuous wearing a nappy! :rotfl:My Debt Free Diary
