Has anyone ordered from Mothercare with the 15% off?

update - the T&Cs say excludes car seats, so I assume this means bases too

Tried to order the family fix base but it doesn't seem to be deducting anything - got as far as when it requests credit card details.

Thanks to Lilymay, have ordered the car seat today on the Boots offer - fingers crossed it comes OK - £53 plus £3 Quidco & points (said 1000 but we'll see). Went out of stock as soon as ordered.

Oh !!!!!!, ive messed up my maternity leave start date, has anyone had to amend theirs?
Ive read u need to give 28 days notice, and manager is away until next mon which will be the 28th day as i'm taking annual leave before then!
Now i'm panicing that ill forget monday, so ive put three reminders on my phone and that they'll have me working extra days....

TBH it just depends on your employer/ manager. Life doesn't end if notice is less - as long as your manager is OK with it.

My boss is quite relaxed about it. We are both working to a provisional 27 September (due 22 Oct), but will 'see how it goes'. Haven't given her my matb1 yet - the joys of working in HR!

    Good luck for tomorrow Girlzmum

That's a great deal TTC40. If it's still in stock I probably would have relented and got one. Please let me know if you get a good deal on the base. I'm after an Easybase and the best price I can see is £62 on Amazon - I might just get it I think before it goes back up in price.

Woke up this morning feeling quite bumpy and my bum has definitely gotten bigger as one of my favourite maxi dresses was a bit of a tight fit this morning  Feels like ages since I've seen the MW. Was last there at 22 weeks and next week I'm at the hospital on Monday for my Anti-D and MW on the Tuesday.

Back from midwife, baby is fully engaged! Hopefully that means she won't be too much longer :-)

Has anyone got any thoughts on names they wouldn't mind sharing?

Thanks all for your help with the glucose test, I ended up eating some porridge at 6.30 this morn, then lucozade at 8. Midwife said that was fine, only took one set of bloods (for iron, glucose and something else, antibodies?) then had my anti d which wasn't great but fingers crossed no ill effects so far!

MV we like traditional names for girls, like Jessica, Sofia, Grace, Annabelle, and for boys Henry has been vetoed but I love it so working on OH, also Harry, Edward and George. It's hard to imagine what to call the little person until we see him or her!

Good luck for tomorrow girlzmum! :)

Good luck Girlzmum! Seems ages since we've had a birth even though i know it's not really.

All went well at the midwife, baby seems happy and she was able to tell he is head down (although still plenty of room to spin around in there) Have another appointment in 3 weeks, cant believe i will be in the 30-odd weeks by then, it's gone so quickly!

I love all your names lobey! MV, we haven't though of any girls ones as we know our is a boy but prospective ones we have come up with along the way are Tom, Isaac, Seth (OH jokingly wanted Thierry haha). Middle name will be Robert as DH, his dad and grandad all have it somewhere in their name.
