Hello All,
Just back for a lovely catch up! I too stuffed and stuffed over Crimbo and let my hair down and enjoyed myself. I don't think Im done yet either lol
Like you say Frogga its the initial few days getting back on track. Im taking it easy until I start back to work on Thursday as when Im off I struggle as my brain in holiday mode i.e I should be treating myself!
Was out for dinner last night and didn't hold back and had a cooked brekkie out this morning as a treat.
I went to be weighed on Friday night and had 1.5 lbs on - so was more than happy with that. Its next thurs though that Im dreading as it will show more then.
So anyway I'm currently 12.5 but its any inspiration to any newbies - I started at 17stone in April.
Ive at least another 2 stone to lose and determined to get there in the first half of 2014.
Good to see you back Frogga & Mrs Ryan.
Plans are to get out tomorrow for a walk at some stage as the exercise has gone to pot and need to get some fresh air !!0 -
MrsR I was in New Look today and saw 'your' dress. It's even lovelier in RL and excellent value for money. They had a 14 and I was tempted to get it for you! Don't worry about this week's lapse, we're all in much the same boat.
I'm still eating carp alongside some fairly on-plan stuff. I was going to make a salad fro my lunch but ended up with camembert and crackers.:o I'm going to carry on until the weekend when I do my next shop and meal plan and then any high syn stuff stays in the cupboard or DH eats it.;)
Sorry to hear you fell off the wagon a bit frogga.
FE is going to start a new thread for us in a couple of days time. I like the title ideas very much, I don't think we'd decided on one.
CW, I definitely think you'd be better with Green. You can always syn or have your fish as a HEX or just have one EE day. The advantages are that you get extra HEAs and Bs on Green plus you don't have to be so fussy about superfree veg. You can fall back on things like beans, peas and sweetcorn if you want.
Welcome trow, I use Frylight but I don't get through very much. It is expensive and I'm still cross that the can has shrunk so much.0 -
Mrs Ryan - love that dress, you ll look fab it in - enjoy!!
Mich city don't worry you can get back on track. Im expecting a gain like that next week lol we are allowed to enjoy ourselves every once in a while but just remember you are in control and as we are now thinking like skinny people lol we no that to have treats and enjoy ourselves we need to get back on plan afterwards - that's what Im telling myself anyway but I no I will feel like rubbish when I get weighed on Thursday0 -
I like the idea of a new challenge for the new year. How about Fit and Lean in 2014?
I will be trying for 8lb loss over the 8 weeks which should be achievable. Especially if I pack ds back of to uni with whatever is left of the Christmas food.
I weigh in tomorrow, which is early as normal weigh in is Wed, and I am really keeping my fingers crossed for a STS - that's what it looks like on my scales at the moment.:T I did a 6 mile walk this morning, but then unfortunately came home and ate shortbread, 2 mince pies and fruitcake, so maybe not!
This is my last week of my free 12 week referral from my gp, so will be buying a 12 week count down. Any tips? I know if you want to take holiday weeks you have to specify at the beginning, is there anything else I should know?
Thanks

Hi everyone,
I really need to lose some weight so looking at giving SW a go. Could I ask whether people on here go to class or 'go it alone'? Reason I'm asking is that i did join a class earlier this year, but didn't really enjoy it, or find the leader very motivating. thanks in advance.0 -

Hi Saffy_Jo, I went to class a couple of times and didn't really like it. I found going it alone is better for me, and yes I have been on and off the wagon a couple of times but I think that would have happened regardless. Reporting into the thread and keeping an online diary help me keep track of what I'm eating and the progress I'm making.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
