  • Hi all

Hope everyone is ok & all set for Xmas. I have been flexi synning the last couple of days. Flew home yesterday so had an EE day of sorts & today is my birthday & haven't been on plan at all - though I have eaten " normally" & haven't over indulged (have had a slice of chocolate cake but it was a small slice).

Tomorrow I plan to have a green day (and will be sticking to plan too)

    Tomorrow's menu

    B - scrambled egg with mushrooms on 2 x toast (hex b)
L - jacket potato with simon rimmer bean chilli (free:T) with spread (2) & hex a cheese
D - pasta with roasted (fry lighted) veggies - pasta sauce (4)

2nd hex a will be milk, options (2) & fruit of some description. :T

    Happy Xmas eve eve :T

Good luck with the new diet Shala, and thanks for the chart. Would be great to hear how you do with the new one.

Well it's been manically busy here, but I think I'm on top of all the work now. Just got too many presents still to wrap :/

    Food today: EE
B - WW Fromage Frais, Apple
L - Ham, Mug shot Pot, Banana
D - Sainsburys Cumberland Sausages x 4 (2 syns), mash, mixed baked beans, gravy 1.5 syns, ketchup 1 syn.
    HExA - milk
    HExB - Hi-Fi Bar
    Snack - satsuma

Good news tonight I had my weigh in, and lost -2lb, which got me my first 1/2 stone award. Amazed it's taken me 5 weeks to do it, as I lost 6.5lb in my first week a couple of years ago when I started. I got a couple of my menu plans back from my consultant, and she seems to think I need to vary what I eat more, and eat more free & superfree. Generally, I think she seems to think I'm not eating enough. I never feel hungry though as I try to fill up on good stuff, so this is going to be a challenge! Determined to eat more fruit & veg anyway, and hope that works.

Will have a couple of days slightly off plan, but not planning to go drastically so. The family and I always have a Chinese takeaway on Christmas Eve, and then the kids have pizza on Christmas day, and OH and I have Chinese microwaved. We don't have our Christmas dinner until Boxing day. This works really well for us, as it means I get to spend the whole day with the family, seeing them enjoy all the things I've bought them, watching films, and playing games. I got fed up being in the kitchen all day rather than being with them.

Christmas dinner will be fine, with SW roasties, and only stuffing and a couple of yorkshires as indulgence. I will have some Christmas pud though.

Anyway, it only happens once a year, I've got all of next year to get the rest of the weight off, and I've given myself a headstart into the holiday season now. Can't guarantee I'll be on every day, but will try to pop in.
Have a great Christmas everyone! :xmastree::xmassign::santa2:

Good luck with sticking to your Christmas Eve menu and Happy Birthday!!!

My DD's birthday was on 20th so I know all about Christmas birthdays.

Where's 'home' that you needed to fly to? I'm [STRIKE]intrigued[/STRIKE] nosey.:o

Christmas has definitely started here. While my proper food has been very much on plan I've had a bag of crisps and some chocolate.

Weather here is manically wild and windy. Keep safe everyone.:A
