  • Shala, a big thankyou and good luck for your new diet.I hope that everyone had a good christmas and enjoying all the presents

I finished the challenge on STS.

Ready for the new challenge now- starting tomorrow for 8 weeks.

    Challenge: to loose 16 lbs

Have had a bad last week but I hope to change it all from tomorrow. I also need to fit in some bodymagic if I have to loose sufficient weight to fit back into my work clothes when I start work in couple of months.

  • Happy Boxing Day all :T

Thank you for the birthday wishes all.:beer:Xmas eve turned out as planned..I managed my green day which I am thrilled about :T:T .. However Xmas day & today have Been a non starter - end of :o.

Although yesterday wasn't that bad( compared to previous years) - I had toast for brekkie , then porridge at lunch (weird I know :o) & had Xmas dinner around 5pm which started off with anti pasti (there was pastrami, salami,Parma ham, couple of olives, small piece of goats cheese plus mixture of sliced peppers & toms -bleugh). Then we had salmon fillet with potato gratin (NOM NOM),peas, asparagus & cheese sauce & then raspberry panacotta for dessert.. Over the course of the day I had about 5 glasses of wine .. Didn't snack on any chocolate or snacky items at all.

Today - bagel for brekkie then had an hours walk & came home to help mum in the kitchen - we had a buffet tea which consisted of roasted beef/tex mex/Indian platter/crudit!s (celery/peppers & carrots) plus all the other buffet type grub. I have been snacking all day :o& am stuffed but the coffee cake is still calling to me :o:(. I have brushed my teeth so I don't eat anymore :o

Tomorrow is a new day & will be trying for an EE day (of sorts) I think .. Having eggs & bacon for breakfast with slice of toast (2 ) for spread
Lunch - going out to meet a friend but hoping they have jacket spuds on the menu as will be going for one.
    Dinner - LO beef with veggies/gravy & boiled spuds ( I hope)

Will def be avoiding all cake & treats however due to the amount of grazing that has happened all today. :o I am embarrassed to admit I haven't even tried today :o

Anyway hope everyone had a lovely Xmas & you are all safe & sound. The wind has picked up this evening & to be frank it scary listening to to it..

Good luck with sticking to your Christmas Eve menu and Happy Birthday!!!

My DD's birthday was on 20th so I know all about Christmas birthdays.

Where's 'home' that you needed to fly to? I'm [STRIKE]intrigued[/STRIKE] nosey.:o

Christmas has definitely started here. While my proper food has been very much on plan I've had a bag of crisps and some chocolate.

Weather here is manically wild and windy. Keep safe everyone.:A

    Hi everyone :)
Belated late birthday wishes to you rainbow. :)
Well, things have changed dramatically. I have 3lbs to lose (officially ;) unofficially its a little bit less than that) and then I'm calling target.
The reason being is.. I've bought something a little bit special and a little bit bargainous in the New Look sale for my awards ball in April.
http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/dresses/red-diamante-embellished-strapless-maxi-prom-dress_291408460 here it is if you're nosey :)
It's a size 18 and is a beautiful fit at the minute. Little bit big but not enormously so. I would like to keep it that way so I'm going to call target as I don't want to lose any more weight and be panicking and looking for a dressmaker or a smaller dress come April!! I will still be following SW but maybe a little more relaxed.
Weighed myself earlier on and I've actually lost 2lbs!! I'm well pleased!! :)
Have been really good again today - I've allowed myself the full 15 syns instead of sticking rigidly to 10 and it seems to have worked - haven't been tempted to binge.
    Today's menu:
B: Choc bliss HiFi bar (HEXB)
L: Jacket potato with beans and a bit of pepper, Diet Pepsi at SpudULike
T: Turkey curry made with 1/2 a jar Schwartz Rogan Josh cooking sauce (7.5 syns) Uncle Ben's Golden Vegetable Microwave Rice (2.5) Dessert: Eton Mess, made with 4 Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Mini Meringue Shells (4 syns) fresh raspberries, 1 pot cherry Mullerlight and 1 pot Total 0% Fat Free Greek Style yoghurt. Diet Coke
Supper: Cup of Beanies Irish Cream coffee with HEXA s/s, 2 satsumas, another one of those pesky meringue shells  (1 syn)
    Syns: 15
Body Magic: I was in town for about 4 hours so plenty of walking!
    Night all xx

I'm intending to try today to be more on plan but since I have my eye on the new Die Hard film tonight with popcorn and crabbies, I suspect syns will be on the high side..... Hmmm.

Thanks for all the tablet tips - very helpful :j

I love my iPad mini, does all I want. Can play loads of games too. My hubby has the big iPad and swears by it. My Sis has just got a kindle fire but not sure you get the same apps as iPad. My mum had a different tablet (can't remember the make) but no-one could get on with it.
So much choice. Don't forget you can sign up for free demos at the apple store to help learn your way round iPads.
    Hope that helps x
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hope you're having a good time rfd ,and everyone else of course!:)

Of course I'm nosey MrsR and the dress is lovely and what a bargain! Is this going to be your forever target or just until April?

I'm still partially off plan but also getting a bit fed up with rubbish. My Christmas visitors have gone today. More arriving tomorrow but that's just for lunch. I'm doing a beef in red wine casserole with loads of veg so I'm getting there. After tomorrow it'll be just DH and me so we can go back to reasonably normal eating.

Leaflet arrived through the door today for SW classes near me. So if anyone's lurking and considering SW, do join and join this thread too!;)

Hi everyone! I was here earlier on in the year but fell off the wagon and never really got back on! Until now that is. I've decided the 2014 is going to be the year for me, where I do the things I need to do for ME and nobody else. One of those main things is losing the weight I need to lose. I'll be officially starting again on Monday but just thought I'd pop along and join the thread again now! Hope you all had a good Christmas and have a brilliant start to 2014 too.

Braved WI yesterday and 1.5 on so not too bad. I'd like to say 7lb for the next challenge, but would like this off in the next 5 weeks as have a weekend away planned. Hope everyone ready for the new challenge and the choccies have been hidden!
