I think steffie was having a green day (as a veggie), but now you've flagged it up it doesn't look like much food for a day. :( and I think eating loads of SF works on all plans whether essential or not.

Ah thanks for that maman, I did think of green day but then my brain wouldn't compute (was fighting with DD over getting her to eat scrambled egg  at the same time), sorry steffie! But yes, superfree should be the basis for as many meals as possible.

I've put on 2lb this week, so failing the challenge miserably & now 4lbs away from my 2stone award (again). My heart's just not in it right now. Had to cancel my blood re-test for today as I'm supposed to be 'relaxed' at it - fat chance of that with a terrible two's toddler :( I think some of that gain is just stuff I ate late last night, so hoping the damage can be undone again for next week!

    C xx
  • Thanks everyone,

Yeah it was a bad day yesterday, I only decided yesterday that I was starting on SW again, I'll get better once I get my head around it again.

Yes, I'm a veggie so would only be doing green days or EE (I've never really done red/green days as I was always doing the EE plan) Is there much of a difference between Green and EE?

    Thanks!

There's no point in a veggie doing EE - it'll just end up a green day because 1/3 of your plate won't be meat, fish or poultry xx
  • Shala, can I report a loss of 1 lb for this week's weigh in please.

Catt - when my kids were going through the terrible two's I just gave them their food and if they refused it then they didn't get anything else until the next meal. Might sound hard but honestly kids won't let themselves starve, they'll eat their meals if they're hungry - as long as they haven't been given snacks because you think they ought to eat something.

Both have grown up to be reasonably good eaters and will eat most things now. I think it was because I never pushed them to eat if they didn't want to and didn't give in to their tantrums when they wanted biscuits, crisps, sweets etc. That's not to say they didn't get those foods but they certainly didn't get them instead of meals.

When I'm feeling strong I do this & I think you're spot on with what you're saying, but then the odd occasion I do give her a snack/treat or reward ( yes I know :o rewarding with food oops) it all goes to pot again. Just feeling weak & tired & run down at the moment & just don't have the strength to let it go over my head!

    Great losses ladies :T
  • Just wanted to pop in and say Hi to fellow slimmers
Sorry to hear you're having a hard time SkintCat, I remember the terrible two's so well  I honestly felt like I didn't like my son at times (obviously I loved him very much!) I don't know how I got through it!! He's a strapping nearly 10 year old now and still has his moments, I feel the terrible teens coming on!!
Nothing prepares you for how hard being a parent is at times but then all the good times make up for the hard times.
I am still trying my best to stick to the SW plan and am happy to just lose a lb or half a pound a week at the mo, might be hard though as I have had chippy fish and chips at the weekend and they were so horrible and I was so disappointed I had to have them again yesterday when I went for a pub lunch with my mum ( they weren't much better!) So I am off the fried food now and back to the healthy stuff!!
    Love to you all
