Frogga glad your still hopping x
Tie - is there anyway you can move teachers? Is she new to the school maybe trying to make friends with everyone kind of thing?
*hugs*
Been good since Thursday, trying to desperately claw back some syns
Even if my hidden cadburys bubbly bar keeps calling to me
Thanks for the hugs (everyone) yes she is new to the school and no I can't change teachers (mores the pity) will gave to wait til my performance management meeting then ask to be moved come the new school year. I just can't believe I've been there all these years with no trouble and she's been there since September and my life has turned upside down.
On a brighter note my mum should be discharged on Wednesday, will probably be more stressed then as she is quite frail and further away so am worried I can't get to her quickly if there's a problemSteffieWoo wrote: »Morning everyone
I'm new to this thread but not new to Slimming World.
I'm going to be starting the diet again as from today but with the materials etc I was using when I first started.
I was just wondering if anyone could clear something up for me.
I'm a Vegetarian and I tend to steer clear of all Dairy products, eg. instead of cows milk I use Alpro Soya Light milk and instead of Muller Lights I'll now be using Alpro Soya Yoghurts,
Does anyone know if I need to count these things any differently than the normal HEA's?
Thanks!
Steffie xx

Wish I could hibernate!!:D
Soooo tired and the traffic is a nightmare in the mornings at the minute. Will have to get up even earlier as I'm at big risk of getting shouted at for being late!
Whomever said about their SW graph going up and down - think it was Beanielou - apologies if its not, you should see mine looks like its just come to a stop:mad:
Made a risotto last night for the first time - was surprisingly nice.
Ended up getting out of bed to eat turkey slices and babybel after all that! Don't know if I was hungry or not but just felt the need.
Mrs R, I can barely fit into a 14 in most shops and I'm 12 stone 9!! My dream is to be a Size 10 but if I don't get my act together it isn't going to happen.
Think I need to change up what I'm eating as its become to samey - but will see how I get on this week and then come up with a plan of attack!0 -
Lantanna - it might be worth trying a mix of Red/Green/EE days will help shift the lbs. I found I plateaued when only doing EE even though I was eating lots of different foods but have managed to shift the last few pounds since mixing the days up a bit.
Having a Green day today:
B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB1); fruit
L - jacket potato, beans
D - cauli cheese with bacon (0.5HEB2) topped with cheese (HEA1)
HEA2 - milk in tea throughout the day
0.5 HEB2 - 2 ryvita
Snacks - Mullerlights, fruit
Syns - butter (on Ryvita) 3.5; fruit split lolly 3; sauce flour 2 = 8.5

Thanks Denise - if the scales are stuck again on Thursday I might just try that.0 -
God knows I don't get my weight loses at all
I'm sure it's the good times when you haven't lost catching up. Hope it works for lantanna too, very soon. One of the great things about this thread is that people are honest and don't pretend they're on plan when they're not. So when people are down because they're good and nothing happens then just keep plodding on and you'll get there.
I agree with denise that having a bit of a shake up can help. That can be a variety of plans or a variety of foods on the one plan. I think I often inadvertently have Green (ish) days. I always set out to do EE but, in trying to be mse, I often have very small meat portions. Keeping the SFs up (including SSs) is a good ploy too.Skint_Catt wrote: »
Dinners aren't so bad & yes, she'd certainly eat those when we all get to eat together at a weekend - it's breakfast & lunches during the week I can't work out - we need to eat the same where possible otherwise she won't eat hers.
I think pasta with a very plain sauce is a great, easy lunch: just a bit of passata and any herbs she'll cope with. Or my DGD used to love to sit and pick at a plate of 'bits': cheese, ham, carrot sticks, cucumber, beetroot, grapes and (for her) perhaps a few crackers or just a few Pringles.;) then something sweet to follow which could be a small fromage frais or a little cake or chocolate bar. As a treat, I'd let her sit with the TV/DVD and enjoy this.:o Weetabix or toast is an easy breakfast with perhaps a banana afterward. When I'm feeling energetic we have been known to play at Three Bears and eat up all our porage!!:rotfl:TakeItEazy wrote: »

Haven't read your first post, sorry, so there may be a reason, but you don't have any fruit/veg/salad there, so it's not really an EE day as 1/3 of your meals/day HAS to be superfree. Veg soup is the lowest syn/heb but make your own soup & it would be syn free0 -

I think steffie was having a green day (as a veggie), but now you've flagged it up it doesn't look like much food for a day.and I think eating loads of SF works on all plans whether essential or not.
