Morning All,
Maman - hopefully it will result in a loss for me this week. Though I did treat myself to a curry from the Chinese last night as was feeling miserable.
Anyway I'll be on it from now until Thursday.
Feeling a bit miserable and want to hibernate lol0 -
Morning everyone
I'm new to this thread but not new to Slimming World.
I'm going to be starting the diet again as from today but with the materials etc I was using when I first started.
I was just wondering if anyone could clear something up for me.
I'm a Vegetarian and I tend to steer clear of all Dairy products, eg. instead of cows milk I use Alpro Soya Light milk and instead of Muller Lights I'll now be using Alpro Soya Yoghurts,
Does anyone know if I need to count these things any differently than the normal HEA's?
Thanks!

Good morning fellow SWers...just catching up. RFD re the horse riding, I have ridden on an off for years since I was about 8, so like riding a bike am fairly experienced in the saddle. However, about 4 years ago I had a really nasty experience on a horse that flipped out and charged off with me. It left me unable to get back into riding. I know the old saying "get back on the saddle," but to date have not managed this. This lack of confidence and risk adversity has attributed to the weight gain, because if I was still riding I would never get on a horse being overweight. However one of my goals is to ride again
. When I lose the weight I will find a school master, and go for a lovely hack - this is a promise I have made to myself. Have another lesson maybe on a different horse or with a different instructor and try again. Alternatively, go for a lovely hack instead.:T Good luck, hope your ankle improves.
Had an ok weekend, but the Christmas yums are increasing and making my mouth water. I can report 18 bottles of wine/fizz now under lock and key in the shed. Tub of Celebrations, Heros, Qual.street. 4 chocolate reindeers, 3 large boxes of posh biscuits. They are up on the top shelf of the kitchen:A. They are not for me......Honest!
Menu
B: porridge (with water) Milk HXa for tea/coffee
L: Tuna salad, cottage cheese, Aldi crispbead (1 syn)
bananaSalmon (2.5 syn) with tomato pasta
muller yogs, apple and frozen fruit with more yogs
fat free gum 0.5 syns0 -
Rainbow~Hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
Thanks beanie. Got a decent nights sleep last night and am feeling perkier today.
Thanks Fairydust for checking

I am not sure why i have even lost my confidence arkers. I havent had a fall (for a long time anyway) . I can only think its because i had a long break from riding, and am heavier than i previously was (so i am not as fit these days - when i rode in the past i was also cycling to work , and jogging every couple of days). Coupled with a horse that has the bounciest trot i have ever known, and one who i think may not have had enough schooling ( he tends to fall in on himself on corners -and is also just 7) has caused me some issues, and the result is i feel incapable of asking him to trot on etc. On saturday we were going over poles and it was just a nightmare from start to finish. He was cutting half the school off and then as he was getting to the poles he wanted to canter rather than go over the poles. The result was me holding him back as i felt like i was losing my balance..
I just felt useless at the end of the lesson because i have trotted over poles in the past, and even cantered. Now i cant do both from fear of falling..:(
ETA - I have tried a couple of other horses -one who is a wizz machine even in walk, and the other is plain stubborn.

menu for the day - EE
Breakfast - toast (hex b) with marmite
L - Jamie Oliver's value HM fish pie - has peas/onions & carrots in the pie ( hex a for milk allowance - sauce is made from milk). Didnt include cheese on the pie though. There is also flour in the pie ( it was 35g in total split 3 ways) so could someone look at plain flour syns? ( i would guessitmate at around 2.5)
D - Turkey noodle stirfry - HM soy/chinese 5 spice type sauce ( 2 for the sweet chilli i will be adding to the sauce)
snacks - an apple, fat free flump (1.5), hot choc(2) and muller light toffee yoghurt,

Having another EE day today:
B - Magic porridge (HEB); banana
L - Jacket potato, tuna mayo (2 syns); selection of chopped fruit including melon & sharon fruit
D - Bubble & squeak (LO pots & cabbage from Sat night); bacon, egg, mushrooms & beans
Denise
Change of plan for lunch as decided with having bubble and squeak tonight I really didn't want more potato for lunch so decided on a ham salad instead so also saved a couple of syns by not having the mayo:T. Looking like just 3 syns so far for today, assuming I have an icelolly tonight.

Plain flour is 4.5 syns for 25g so I think your estimate is about right.SteffieWoo wrote: »

Welcome steffie. I think only the milk counts as a HEA. You can have 300ml of sweetened or 35oml of unsweetened. Most of the yogurts are 2 syns for a 125g pot (except 1.5 for blackberry and 3.5 for 110g of creamy cherry).
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, fried egg
L: banana, few bits of tikka chickenchicken stir fry with masses of veg and rice
Syns: squirt of sauce, honey in stir fry
I've only had 3 cups of tea (with splash of milk) today so may have some cheese and apple later.0
