Morning everyone.
Suzi - utterly shocked. What a total *!$& your ex is!!! That's awful! Take care of you and your son xx
Yesterday was a bit of a different day food wise. I had to go into town to post some of my Ebay parcels, buy a train ticket for an away match later in the month and sort OH's nephews Xmas pressies, but I managed to be sensible(both in food and not spending money I couldn't afford but I did treat myself to lunch)
Yesterday's menu:
B:2 Tesco Wheat Biscuits (HEXB) with skimmed milk (HEXA) chopped banana, NAS cordial with mineral water
Snack: Metcalfe's Skinny Topcorn Sea Salt (5.5 syns)
L: Jacket potato and beans, Diet Pepsi from Spud U Like
T: Kipper fillets, Uncle Ben's Golden Vegetable rice (2.5 syns) big bowl of steamed mixed veg (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, baby new potatoes) Mullerlight Turkish Delight, banana. NAS cordial with mineral water
S: Chicken MugShot
Total: 8 syns
Body Magic: walk from one end of Leicester town centre to the other and round the shops (that's a decent distance)
Today:
B: Beans on HEXB Nimble, NAS cordial, apple
L: Tuna pasta made with tinned tomatoes with herbs, bowl of mixed salad
T: Tesco Light Choices salmon and broccoli pie (2 syns) steamed mixed veg, Mullerlight, banana.
I think a few Pink n Whites and some Options might also be in order this evening
Drinks will be water and NAS cordial, I have a big ironing pile to do so Body Magic will be that and hopefully a walk if it doesn't rain later.
Have a good day everyone xxx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Boy did it feel good at the time though as I felt I had some control.
Hey ho I am not proud and wish I had behaved with more dignity but i am only human and I have no respect for women like her.
I understand how you feel but 'hell hath no fury....' and he did bring it on himself.
Although not similar to your situation in any way, my DH and I went through a dreadful time with his ex and former MIL slagging us off and using us. I took the moral high ground and over 30 years on I still feel bitter about it (as you can probably tell)!;)
Like others have said, you post all you like if it helps. We spend loads of time on here talking about what stops us sticking to the plan. To hear what people like you and eleanorf are going through and eating sensibly is inspirational!but I managed to be sensible(both in food and not spending money I couldn't afford but I did treat myself to lunch)
I read that and thought OMG, what naughties has MrsR been having? Then I saw you'd stayed on plan. Good for you!!:T
I had a few fleeting thoughts of being sensible last night but they didn't last long:o. Thoroughly enjoyed my carvery, and did have a lot of SFs in with the other stuff. Anyhow, line drawn and I'm likely to be in control of all meals until possibly Sunday. So today will be perfect, right on plan and very low syn to claw a bit back.
EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, scrambled egg, HEA milk for teas
L: HM vegetable soup and some fruit (Satsuma, apple)sausages, mash, cabbage, carrots, fried onions, peas
Syns: squirt of sauce, gravy, 1 syn for 2 sausages0 -

For the first time in 8 1/2 years I fit comfortabley in my university alumni hoody (it never fitted when I bought it
)
Which means in two months following sw I'm now smaller than I have been since my early twenties
Was talking to my lovely friend before and I realised I'm sticking to the plan mostly because its the one area at the moment I have control over and by being healthy its me being in control and benefitting
(This sw makes me deep and thoughtful at times) xxxStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Just finished reading the posts I've missed, I think I got them all!
Eleanorf, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you at this horrible time xxx
SuzieQ, I gather you're having a bit of a hard time too (from what others have said in support). I hope things get better for you soon!
Went to asda yesterday and was in the spices aisle trying to find some ingredients for the SW sweet and sour chicken... I couldn't find what I needed so picked up a Schwartz, shot glass sized, sweet and sour mix thing. Honestly its tiny! You just add it to your chicken and other ingredients so I thought 'that'll do'... Got home and read the packet, saw that the calorie count was 600+ per 100g, astronomical! Thought I'd better check out the syn value.... 16.5 syns!! Yes, you read that right... 16.5!!! Needless to say its been chucked to the back of the cupboard!! So, beware people! I was fooled by its tiny size and it nearly got me!!
16.5 syns for 100g or for the pack? Most Schwartz stuff is about 35g which would be about 6 syns for the whole thing to serve 4 people - not so bad!0 -

Nup, according to the syn checker app its 16.5 for the pack/pot (52g)
ETA: Now I've thought a bit, its about 4 syns per serving so not too bad I suppose. I got a bit shocked by the tiny size/syn ratio!Weight Loss3lb Lost32lb To Go:xmassmile 8 Week Christmas Cracker SW Challenge :xmassmile3lb/12lb0 -
I've had a terrible falling out with my Mom. We've had a volatile relationship over the last 36 years but I've been much better since being on meds at not provoking an attack from her, until I was too honest about answering a question from her yesterday (I've become a very good liar/avoider when it comes to her as everything I say/do/eat/drink/dress etc etc is wrong) & she went beserk at me.
Anyway, it's going to be a lonely few weeks for me & dd until I back down & apologise (even though it's not my fault again), I'm just so physically tired of trying to be 'perfect' for her.
Sorry, I know I've NOTHING to complain about given some of the posters on here - just giving some background in case I fall off the waggon....
B; didn't feel like it
L; fruit salad & ff yoghurt, 1 glass of diet Dr Pepper (trying to wean myself off)
D; chicken jambalaya from SW website (1.5 syns), nas squash or 1 more glass of Dr Pepper
HEb Hi-Fi bar with cup of tea or 2 this evening (HEa)
Just found this keyring - I want!!! (Hope the link works!)

Since my disasterous weekend (foodwise) I seem to be back on track
- have been eating completely to plan since Monday morning and feel so much better for it - all that junk doesn't agree with me anymore
EE for me today (maintaining so x2 HEX's):
B: Weetabix (HEXB1) with semi-skimmed milk (HEXA1), banana, grapes & 1/2 grapefruit, small orange juice (2 syns).
L: Large mixed SF salad with x3 Babybel light (HEA2), wafer thin ham & beetroot, ML greek FF yogurt (1/2 syn)Tuna & pasta in SW recipe arrabiata sauce (bit light on the SF but loads during the rest of the day
S &Green tea, banana, satsuma, option hot choc (2 syns)
Another HEXB to have - not sure what yet - but I have Zumba class tonight so may have a snack when I get back
Syns for the day = 4 1/2
Have a good day everyone0 -

Considering it's just spices etc, I find these sachets ridiculous (although handy sometimes)
