Eleanorf, so sad to hear about your OH, hope you have some friends and loved ones to keep close. Hugs.

SuzyQ, like others - speechless, you are doing so well to stay focused on keeping healthy and looking after your son.

Bit better today, took lunch into work and stayed clear of biscuit tin but have had some choc now that I'm home. Not a great day but much better than the usual binge-a-rama.

Eleanor, so so sorry to hear your news. Cannot imagine half of what you must be going through. Heart felt hugs sent your way :A:A

Suzyq all I can say is OMG, what the hell  If I were you I wouldn't let him anywhere near your child without strict supervision. Also you may have already thought about/done something about getting yourself checked out health wise. Heaven knows what he could have picked up from prossies and drug taking. Needs his knackers chopping off (is that too extreme? Nah ;)) best of luck for your future :A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

[QUOTEHope I am not patronising with my post, you probably know all this already. I am so sorry to hear what he has put you through.][/QUOTE]

Not at all I'm grateful for all support and advice.

I won't mention this again after this post as I think it's unfair on a weightloss thread, so I apologise for just sharing the last bit.

I have spoken to my sons therapist and he will be contacting me tomorrow with an appointment to discuss the best thing to do about Him.I have also told my ex he has to find himself some professional help and to stay away.he texted at one point to say he felt like topping himself but as a trained nurse advisor for NHSdirect I know that those who threaten, seldom do, and I just said the right things to keep him grounded and left it at that.
    Tomorrows another day!

Wizkid - sorry if this has been mentioned but pea's aren't free on a red. I also don't understand how 0.5 slice of w/meal bread can be half a HEb AND 2 syns? Sorry if I'm being thick.

    C xx

oh yes I am wrong about peas it was g beans or it should have been
and the half slice of bread was the other half of a HEb The plus 2 syns was the butter or marge on the bread.

SuziQ you post all you want.

It may be a weightloss thread but life sometimes gets in the way of that and we are all friends here.

    Having another EE day today:

B - bacon, egg, mushrooms, baked beans; melon
L - carrot & lentil soup with WM bread (HEB)
    D - stirfry & noodles

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day

Couldn't get my usual fruit split lollies when I went shopping yesterday as Mr Ts freezers with them in (+ a couple of others) had gone down, so ended up buying mini cones - well mini isn't the word they are more MICRO - still 3 syns each but ended up having 2. Ended up 8 syns yesterday as also had a bit of butter on my toast.

Will probably just be 6 syns today - 2 micro cones.

Just finished reading the posts I've missed, I think I got them all!

Eleanorf, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you at this horrible time xxx

SuzieQ, I gather you're having a bit of a hard time too (from what others have said in support). I hope things get better for you soon!

Went to asda yesterday and was in the spices aisle trying to find some ingredients for the SW sweet and sour chicken... I couldn't find what I needed so picked up a Schwartz, shot glass sized, sweet and sour mix thing. Honestly its tiny! You just add it to your chicken and other ingredients so I thought 'that'll do'... Got home and read the packet, saw that the calorie count was 600+ per 100g, astronomical! Thought I'd better check out the syn value.... 16.5 syns!! Yes, you read that right... 16.5!!! Needless to say its been chucked to the back of the cupboard!! So, beware people! I was fooled by its tiny size and it nearly got me!!
