  • Hi,

Would I be able to join please ... My friend has recommended you - I was on the OS weight loss but I haven't been very good so I am returning to sw this week as I know it works when I stick to it.

I am not very good at keeping up with threads and I tend to start and stop weight loss but really want to make a go of it as I am going on holiday in March.

Well, I've ended up with a bit of a mix today!!

B: porridge with milk (HEA, HEB), satsuma, maple syrup (1 syn)
L: Lentil dahl, green beans (50:50)
D: Mushrooms, onion, gammon (30g) sour half cream (3 syns)
15g cheddar cheese(3 syns), sprouts, broccoli, carrots (50:50, pasta to veg).
Snacks: Satsuma, 25g crisps (6/7 syns)

So, I could have a green day, syn the gammon, have the cheese as a HEA. Could gammon be a HEB on green?

Anyway, I'm within my syns, which is the main thing.
    Trying to keep in budget.

60g of cooked gammon is a HEB on Green, so you're doing really well!!

Not having a good day. Mom gave me some choc to bring back home with me (shes always trying to sabotage my diet even though she's been my very worst critic of my weight) - I thought I'll put it away out of sight, but got home to discover hubby won't be home this evening as my Father in Law has fallen again & in hospital with a possible broken hip. I ate a 4 finger kitkat & 2 fun size milky ways :( Now I'm looking at the mini bags of maltesers & minstrels I bought for the trick or treaters :(

I've been so down today anyway with my early WI gain & my depression having an off day I was really looking forward to having him home  It's 150mile + round trip for him after work so God knows what time he'll be home if at all. I'm tempted to skip dinner tonight & just go to bed when my dd goes as I've eaten more than my 'calories' for today anyway.

Really tempted to skip WI tomorrow as I'm just fed up of gaining/losing the same 3/4lbs for the last 2 months - I feel like such a fool I'm so close to my Club 10/2 stone award!

Sorry - just needed to vent somewhere. Got no-one else :( At least DD's been good today otherwise I'd be in a corner rocking :(

    C xx

Oooooo, that mean I have syns spare for chocolate!! I think that a couple of pieces of Green and Blacks would go down very nicely with my tea later!

Weigh in - 3lb loss for week 1 of the Cracker challenge :)

Last week must have been a good week - even with the daily biscuit (or two!).

I also sold 5 items from my online jewellery shop which is great - hope it's picking up with the Christmas shoppers as I need the money to pay the blinking fuel bills this winter! I'm a full-time carer for my partner (rather unexpectedly last year he developed a rare illness) so every little helps now neither of us have a job!

    Great results all round.
Pop me a wee link to the jewellery if you get a mo.

    Milldred~Great results for you :j :j

If I had of joined the challenge & weighed in today I would probably be in the lead

Bearing in mind it has been 2 weeks I lost 1st 3.5lb!

So since Rebecca was born I have lost 2st 10lb which brings me to 4lb below my pre pregnancy weight!

Imagine how much it would have been if I had actually been following SW to the letter!

Will rejoin in 2 weeks & start from scratch!
