That's lucky Cat, it's bad here isn't it Nessie? Our tree in the front garden has come down and missed Tadpole's car by an inch :eek:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hi TiE
my team is Nottingham Rugby. They are a pro team but they play in the Championship so theyre maybe not as well known as their neighbours Leicester Tigers but I'm a huge fan
we were second last season and pushing for the Premiership but our funding fell through and we lost 16 players
we're struggling at the bottom this season. My player didn't get on - I'm thankful in a way as I know he's not right and I don't want him damaging himself even more.
Nice to meet a fellow rugby nut TiE - Norfolk is quite a big rugby area isn't it?? It's ironically where the player I sponsor originally comes from.
Im on Ebay at the minute - I have 2 minutes left on a shirt Im desperate to win but Ive managed to resist the choccy!!! I'm going to have some dinner now - I'm really hungry!(I won the shirt :j :j)
Tigers fans here, hubby and son often travel up but I've only been once and that was so I could drool over Johno when they played a charity match of old boys earlier this year. If your player is from Norfolk maybe my son has played against himIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hurry up n go back to sleep dd I'm shattered
Thanks Mildred 😈, my eldest would have been 29 in December but then I was a child bride 😈😜Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well it's been a really synful weekend for me! Have had 80 syns from Thurs to Sunday (most of them Saturday night!) so now have a max of 25 for the next 3 days but that's OK - gives me about 8 a day.
I'm having another EE day today:
B - bacon, beans & mushrooms
L - ham salad sandwich
D - paprika pork with either rice or noodles
HEA: SS milk
HEB: 2 slices Hovis bread - 400g loaf
Syns nothing planned yet but may have a pink 'n' white this evening if I fancy something sweet - so 2.5 syns
Have some fruit to snack on if I fancy it too.

Just had a sneaky weigh & it looks like I've gained 4lbs
Doesn't bode well for WI tomorrow morning & the first week of the challenge!
I've also been looking into pcos/infertility & obviously the more I lose weight the better it'll help me so that's given me an extra kick up the ***

Hey its not impossible - hes just turned 23 and he went to school in Norwich!!! (hes not from there though) I used to watch Tigers a lot, I was quite friendly with Tom Youngs when he was at Nottingham but I've only been to Tigers I think about 3 times in the last few years - once was to watch Fin when he was on loan to London Irish, once to watch Nottingham get thumped by Tigers in a pre-season friendly and once when I happened to be at a loose end so I went down to say hi to Tom. Given the fact I live in Leicestershire most people are bemused I support Notts and yes it gets expensive for me but Tigers games are horrifically expensive! OH wants a ticket to the Montpelier game for Christmas and the cheapest seat I could find for him is £35!!! I don't mind paying that for him as a one off but I pay £8 to get into Nottingham and £5 busfare so its still cheaper for me.
the storm seems to have bypassed us out here in rural Leics, theres been some rain but its stopped now and the winds don't seem to have been that bad thank god. Its tragic to hear all those who have lost their lives in the storm thoughOH has to drive to work in Northampton in a bit - I've told him to be extra careful on the motorway.
WI today so no syns for me until later!! I'm always a bit naughty after WI though haha. I've tried really hard this week but I've been really set back by my knee - I aimed to try and do some BM yesterday but then my knee went when I was walking upstairsIm going to attempt a gentle walk later and hopefully it will hold.
Today's menu:
B: Big bowl of frozen Tesco value mixed fruit (apple, pineapple, melon, mandarin) vanilla Mullerlight, cup of coffee with HEXA s/s milk
L: Big bowl of tuna and mixed leaves, apple, NAS cordial
Snack at group: 2 x HiFi Rocky Road (HEXB) banana
T: Tesco Light Choices Mushroom Stroganoff (5 syns) steamed mixed veg. Depending on how hungry I am I might have a jacket spud with a couple of Laughing Cow Extra Light as part of my healthy extras. Or if WI is not good I'll have 2 pink n whites which will use up my other 5 syns :rotfl:
Stay safe everyone and have a good day all - will post my result later*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Couple of neighbours have had fence panels blown over & heard a lot about trees blowing over - I'm lucky though our garden is still in tact & the guineas & rabbit are still tucked up cosy in their still upright hutches!
Took my brother over hour to get to work though as the bridge is closed  glad I don't have to go out at all
I am debating joining you all with the challenge but I don't know whether to start with the weight I was 2 weeks ago or wait until I rejoin again? (In couple of weeks time)0 -
Good Morning!
Started today with a bowl of porridge (HEA and
and I'll have lentil dahl and rice for lunch I think, so it's looking like it could be a green day.
I want to make a creamy mushroom pasta sauce for dinner but has anyone got any ideas about how to make a creamy sauce (as opposed to tomato sauce) without using cream? I'd usually use creme fraiche but not on SW!!
I copied you this from the website gien. It's 3.5 syns per portion so worth it if it's something you're fancying. There are recipes using quark but I've never tried that. Or you could use Philly or similar (75g of Light) and count it as a HEA.
ingredients
Low calorie cooking spray
150g open cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 level tbsp cornflour
275ml skimmed milk
1 level tbsp dijon mustard
150g fat free natural fromage frais
Salt and ground white pepper
1 tbsp snipped fresh chives
method
1. Spray a saucepan with low calorie cooking spray and cook the mushrooms for 6-7 minutes over a medium heat until softened. Stir the cornflour into 4 tablespoons of the milk to make a smooth paste. Pour the remaining milk over the mushrooms and heat gently.
2. Stir the paste into the mushroom mixture along with the mustard. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously, and cook for 1-2 minutes until thick and smooth. Remove from the heat and gradually stir in the fromage frais.
3. Reheat very gently (do not boil or the fromage frais will curdle). Season to taste and scatter over the chives before serving.0 -

Why don't you just start eating SW way like Blodwen does (doesn't way but still eats roughly on plan), at least you'd be with us in spirit and eating healthily. If you lose as well it'll be a bonus. Or you could just join us late as the challenge will still be running when you re-join.
Storm was pretty wild here during the night. DH had a bit of a tidy up in the garden yesterday so other than lots of leaves, no harm done. I woke up a couple of times and trees were swaying wildly but all still intact.
Interesting rugby discussion: I followed Wales way back when I was a teenager but switched allegiance to football when met DH. MrsR, if you think that professional rugby is expensive, try Premiership football!:rotfl:
I know that sounds like a lot of syns denise, but it'll be easy to eat very low syn the rest of the week. Hope you enjoyed the get together. I'm sure the syns were worth it.:)
Today is a bit of a strange day. I had beans on toast for breakfast. DH is eating out this evening so I won't be making supper for the two of us as usual. I've got some LO chicken and veg on the fridge so I'll make myself a meal from that plus LO frittata I made yesterday that I can have for lunch. So a day of left overs!!0
