If it's not too late, I would love to join in the challenge please.
I'd like to go for 14lbs, a straight stone. I think the challenge is a fantastic idea and great for motivation!
Thanks xx0 -

T - lamb shank, carrots, potatoes, Gravy 2

Morning all, was wondering if I should join the challenge as it might help keep me on the straight and narrow instead of the slippery slope I'm on at the moment. I know I'm still under a lot of stress but I'm on half term so no work stress and I can meal plan better this week so hopefully no rubbish meals.
I WI with .4lb LOSS which is amazing as had more takeaways this week than I've ever had 😔. Worried it will catch up but will be my own fault if it does.
So, my aim for the challenge is to MAINTAIN roughly what I am now (9st 10lb) which is 2lb below my target.
Reading that has made me realise how well I am doing despite all the stress 😃. Just hope it lasts 😳.
Hope I'm not too late Shala, if I am I'll just carry on as if I AM with you all 😍Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hi TIE, nice to see you x
Of course you're not too late.. I've added you on!
There are now 30 of us - pledging to lose 19 stone and 9.5 lbs before Christmas!!! (anyone want to join in for 4.5lbs so we can round it up to 20 stone) and three members pledging to maintain..
Well done ladies, lets keep our focus for 8 weeks :j:j
I've made a bit of a boo boo - I've been having a liberal sprinkling of granola on my breakfasts all week, but not measuring it  turns out it's 20g and 4 syns!!!
Lesson learned - measure, measure, measure
I now need to think of something else for breakfast because there's no way i'm wasting 4 syns on that!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

I think it's great for you that the start of the challenge coincides with half term. You'll be able to really get sorted with the meal planning and shopping and that should put you 'in the zone' for the coming weeks. That being said, I think you're doing brilliantly to be 2lb below. I'm dead on my target weight so hoping to get into the lower reaches to give leeway for Christmas nibbles.

If you want to have cereal then the easiest is to go for Weetabix as no measuring involved. Next to that, Puffed Wheat seems to give the biggest volume to weight. It's bland like plain popcorn so maybe an acquired taste but fruit perks it up. I find other cereal a very mean looking amount. Do you have time to make something else? What about baked beans or a frittata cooked in advance?
My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, rasher of bacon, fried egg, HEA milk for teas
L: I plan to snack on fruit (satsumas and bananas) to balance off no SFs at breakfast. May have a JP if starving or cook a frittataroast chicken, SW roast potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, cauli, broccoli, carrots
Syns: squirt of sauce, gravy, stuffing0 -
Morning all
(just)
Stressful day today - my rugby team play an important match today. Luckily I'm not going (its away) but I'll be listening online. I've also agreed to take over the unofficial Twitter feed which is going to be difficult and stressful - am going to have to try to resist reaching for the chocolate!! Player I sponsor is still out injured which is quite worrying as wellsorry people - you'll realise I'm a little rugby obsessed haha.
B: 2 Tesco Wheat Biscuits (HEXB) with HEXA skimmed milk (I hate skimmed milk but I'm trying to make my milk allowance go a bit further - like Im not keen on Weetabix but they fill me up more than the paltry bit of Fruit and Fibre I can have! I've found I'm forcing myself to eat a lot more food I hate since starting SW) chopped banana, cup of coffee with HEXA milk.
L: I think a ham salad and an apple;
T: Chicken minus the skin, mixed veg, a few Aunt Bessies Roasties (2.5) jacket spud and 2 Laughing Cow extra light triangles. 2 plums and a vanilla Mullerlight;
S: White choc Options (2 syns) packet of Hoops and Crosses (4.5)
Drinks :NAS cordial with mineral water
Total syns - 9
Im planning to try and get on the bike later if my knee holds out. I've tried to try extra hard with food this week as for most of the week I haven't been able to do any or very little Body Magic. I really need a loss this week!! Ive had a few treats this week, and thankfully I managed to rescue yesterday by sticking to two apples and a bottle of Diet Coke at the cinema so 11 syns is just about ok - phew
It would be nice to finally get that pesky elusive stone award as it keeps wriggling out of my way!!!
Right, breakfast time

I'm finding that the 30g of oats for a HEB makes quite a nice lot of porridge and fills me up well.
I am sure that there's an increasing amount of scientific studies that show that sugar, salt and fat in food can become an addiction and it can be really hard to control the urge to eat 'bad' foods in much the same way as it's hard for quite a few people to stop at just one or two glasses of wine.
I weighed myself for the challenge yesterday but then was horribly off plan. I am back on focus today
Today is red
B: Boiled egg, (HEA milk)
L: Toastie sandwich (HEB bread, HEA cheese) tomatoes, pepper, cucumber.Gammon, vegetables, potato (HEB)
Snack: Apple satsuma banana
Syns: Tortilla chips, 30g - can anyone help me with this? calorie counts would suggest 7 syns.Trying to keep in budget.
