    Totally agree, thanks shala.

Came back to post today's plan:

B: NAS squash, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: bacon & mushrooms fried up with LO veg (and very tasty it was too) followed by a satsuma
D: steak, JPs, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions and peas
Syns: squirt of syrup, maybe some spread on JP and wine!:j

P.S. Just remembered I'll be having coffee at the football and will have tiny bite of DH's Crunchie.
  • Am I too late to join in too? I'm rubbish at keeping up with the forums at the moment but I really need to get my bum into gear as the 2 stone I'd lost up until June is slowly going back on. I'd like to lose 10.5lb by christmas which will put me firmly in the middle of the next stone bracket.

  • Cande - I just wanted to say that I have SW before and got to target and I didn't have my full syns and I did feel deprived and just got bored with the plan as I wasn't eating treats and ended up putting all the weight back on and more.

This time is different I have my full 15 syns every day and although I do not lose as quickly as some in my group I make sure that I have crisps nearly every day and enjoy my syns on things like mayo, gravy, Options hot choc, pesto, cheese etc. I have lost 20.5lbs since the end of July and have another 2 stone to lose. I also think that as you get closer to target it does get harder to loose the weight and you may need to reduce your daily syns so if you are starting not having many syns you won't be able to reduce it.

I believe that having some of what you fancy does stop a massive binge.

Just something to think about :)

Completely agree with that tracey. Fortunately I just plugged away patiently (well sort of patiently;)) when losses got slower nearer to target but I did have some possibilities just in case. Lowering syns was one, measuring milk properly was another and I did up the SFs and SSs. I didn't actually do Success Express properly but veered towards the two thirds for many meals.

Syns - not sure yet - might treat myself to some chocolate or other tasty morsels for this evening as hubby away - anyone got a recent list of chocolate/crisps up to 15 syns? Cheers :D

I still don't have control of my eating/binging. When I'm feeling strong, I can have a square a night from a huge bar - but the slightest wobble & the rest of the bar plus anything else in sight gets devoured. I can't have a 'treat' cupboard like Frogga as my willpower isn't strong enough.

    Hi Skint_Catt

The crisps that I tend to go for are:-
    Walkers French Fries - 4.5
Walkers lights - 6 all varieties
Walkers baked stars - 4.5 all varieties
Space raiders, 13g pack - 3 pickled onion or beef
Velvet crunch, thai sweet chilli - 4.5

The choc that I tend to go for are:-
    Small chomp, 12g - 3
    Small fudge, 26g - 5.5
    Curly Wurly, 14g treat size - 3.5
Curly Wurly, normal size - 6

Ssshhh, don't tell Frogga but Freddo frogs are also good for 5 syns :D

It's fine Tracey, Freddos were named in honour of my Great Uncle Fred who himself had an issue with his weight so he'd approve and be proud to be helping all of us with our struggle :D

    Thanks Shala_moo!!

So my first official WI will be a week on Tuesday so that would be my 1st week?! Is that right?

So, in mahoosive letters, I will put 'I've lost Xlbs week one'...? Something like that ok?
